I’m deadly serious, is there any way the club can change and pivot to this for next year?

The all red Guernsey is going to last one year max and then they probably would change it to this anyways, but seriously why wait, I’d rather not be a laughing stock for a year and instead have a top tier guernsey for our first real finals push.
Hopefully bullying will work

Y'know what, looking at the embroidered logo being a little folded/distorted, I reckon a little wave in that middle line could have helped it a bit from being so monotonous.

Not that you would see it on the home guernsey, but it just gives it a point of difference to the rest of the logo.

Good pick up actually the middle wave adds something. I also think the word suns underneath makes the logo look better too, as it did on the last one, but they seem reluctant to have words on a jumper like that.

Definitely would like to see what suns in that font in gold underneath the logo on the jumper would look like
I think my prediction that this logo is pretty much merch driven was close to the mark
I mean does anyone really care what jumper you're wearing on the ground!
"ooooo look...a Lion on my tummy :eek:..I'm already braver before I go out on the ground"
Yeah nah
Hats tees caps hoodies this logo just bosses them

Just going out on a limb but don't reckon the Club is going to bin the container load of jumpers and merchandise that they're already selling out of the Suns Shop. But no reason it won't evolve quickly.Premier League clubs make millions out of ensuring their kits are different every year. The Suns logo in red is going to be impossible to see on TV as nice as it looks in PR shots.I'm surprised there isn't more Gold given it is Gold Coast not Red Coast

other than the jumpers, most of the merch has the yellow logo onthe red background. and where it doesnt (like caps) they looks fine. its just the jumpers themselves.
but you are right
they will pivot to the yellow tweak in 2026 or 2027
