Brennan is in All-Australian form. Absolutely dominating.

Brennan also holds the AFL record for most tackles in a game (16)... clearly he is all about the highlight reel. :eek:

Yup, trading Riewoldt for Brennan in my Dream Team looks like a great move. Let's hope he keeps playing like this.

King actually did pretty well against Sandilands, considering he was giving away about a foot. Got his fair share of taps and did a few good things around the ground. Would still take him ahead of that spud Blake anyday.

Mark Blake is an excellent tap ruckman who works very well with our midfield.
He is a spud of a kick and decision maker, which is why if he does happen to end up with the ball, he simply hand-passes it a meter to someone on our team who can kick better than him, which is everyone.
He is not the worst ruck the game has seen. He is simply the best we have atm given our unparalleled success and salary cap concerns, as evidenced by the loss of Shane Mumford last year.
Your point is wrong, and even if it were right it is also irrelevant, as we just won a flag with him performing his role very well in the GF. Incidentally we beat St Kilda in that GF, in case you hadn't noticed.
 
I stopped ereading this shit after I realised it was afail thread (pun intended) and he was getting owned left right and centre.

King - 9 hit outs, 7 disposals, 2 marks
Sandilands - 36 hitouts, 22 disposals, 7 marks

Round 3, Fremantle v Geelong @ Subiaco
Blake - 13 hitouts, 14 disposals, 3 marks
Sandilands - 37 hitouts, 16 disposals, 4 marks

Oh, and did I mention King is 2cm taller than Blake? So Blake gave up 11cm on Sandi, King only gave up 9.

So basically, Blake performed better in every aspect, despite the fact that his team lost, he was interstate and he is shorter.

Actually, there is one thing King beat Blake in - he gave away more frees.

Yeah nice try Einstein but King was the back up ruckman to Gardiner against Freo whereas Blake was your No.1 ruckman with Ottens out. Of course King's stats would be less than Blake's stats in those circumstances.

Why don't you compare Blake's stats to Gardiner's or King's stats to that other Cats ruck spud Dawson Simpson?

Dawson Simpson is your equivalent of McEvoy, the young ruckman who comes in if one of the two more experienced ruckmen are injured or rested.

McEvoy is miles ahead of Dawson Simpspud.
