Who cares about rookies and duds....there would countless amounts of rookies from all the APS schools. Stop wasting our time.

Name 5 rookies currently in the AFL from the 1 APS school other than Skevs.

You are saying it like its better to have lots of crap rookies than elite AFL footballers like skevs do:thumbsdown:. Why would i care about some no name rookies anyway.

How about you only post players who we've heard of and actually should be proud that they went to your school. :D (like judd, goddard, walker, delidio)

Yes, only unbeaten side in the comp.
The 1 point win to Scotch was the decider.

Xavier must have won - not Scotch. Anybody know a ladder?

Xavier were not that good at Year 9 level so what made the difference? Somebody told me they got three new Boarders but they musnt be scholarship ones cos Xavier dont give em out. So maybe they fluked some good new kids. Or maybe the other schools had more year 10s up in tne firsts?

Xavier had quite a few injuries last year.
They did get 3 new boarders. All of them are younger brothers of older Xaverians who are already at the school or were a few years ago.

Xavier 10As are now coached by Ian Aitken (Carlton and St Kilda). He has them playing an impressive running game to get them ready for Barra's coaching style next year.

The 1sts will be unbeatable, what with the 10As coming in, 15 of the current squad back next year and a couple of new country boys coming in at Yr 11 - its going to be a whitewash.

The word was they were quite surprised that they finished 2nd this year as they were always gunning for 2008 as the big one - so many Yr 11s have gone onto the next level. Lees, Kennedy, Noonan, Daniher, Sibosdao, Cross, O'Sullivan (let me know when to stop) Ulbrick, Shiel, Ambrose, Hannebery, Grigg, Craig, Hachem. These guys have been in the squad all year. Most playing every game in the 1sts.

Thanks Couch for that. I had actually heard the opposite - that only one was a brother and that the other two were new,

ANyway it seems they will have a good firsts team - but its peobably a bit early to call them unbeatable. I give them a big chance though.

Yes Cams only one of them had a brother come through which has left.
One other has a few cousins at the school and 1 a brand newy. There is nothing flukey about these boys they are nothing but pure class, hard genuine footy players. Xavier 10 A's went very well this year considering they had 4 injuries throughout the year, one playing a quarter and one missed the 1st half of the season.
The 3 new boarders have brought more reliability and depth into the team. 2 of them played for the nsw team and the other 1 a pure gun.

Xav's v wesley in the final round.
After a very slow start to the game leaving Xavier trailing at quater time.
The second half was were the Xav's really turned it on putting on 8 unanswered goals in the 3rd term

Final scores Xavier: 93
Wesley:22

Xavier Undefeated ....

all you guys are going on bout melbourne teams but the boys at shc have been undefeated since year 6 and with stars like matt delmenico, reece jolly, taylor angel.. the sacred heart yr 10s are probs up there with the top..
