Yeah Roger Federer has something fishy about him i think

I'm surprised that his first Wimbledon victory isn't questioned more than simply left to go.

In his round of sixteen match against Feliciano Lopez he took an injury timeout due to a back complaint. He came out immediately following the match and stated that the opinion of the match doctor was that he retire from the tournament because something was just not right.

He then came out the next day stating that his personal physician stated that it would be in his best interests to withdraw from the tournament due to the injury.

He claims that Martina Navratilova gave him some advice following the interview in regards to "how to win at grand slams... and to overcome injury".

He went from being injured and being told by highly professional doctors to withdraw from the tournament into overnight becoming the most unstoppable force tennis has seen in many, many years.

Not too bad for a guy who hadn't made it past the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam to that point in his career.

Something smells a little off. You don't just go from a renound choke artist to being unstoppable while injured.

I was actually referring to his personality (his real personality) but interesting theory.
Personality wise i think he actually has a very arrogant and dismissive side to him. I dont think he actually has that much sportsmanship about him at all.

No, not at all. The guy was always very talented.

However, you don't go from being injured and being ordered by your own doctor to quit a tournament and win it in devastating fashion.

As for his sportsmanship, I've always noticed this as well. He doesn't seem like a likeable type of guy.

You seemed to link what happened at that tournament directly to him being 'overnight an unstoppable force'.

Clearly irrespective of what happened at that tournament he was always going to be completely dominant in tennis for many years.
