But you made some blatant errors which I need to point out:

1) Which homesick players besides McGuinnes came back? If you are referring to Jarman, we actually had to trade away Whelman to get him and it was a few years after we formed. A state team? Thats why Wanganeen and Jarman went to Melbourne instead of staying in SA. And since we had only a couple of months to form, we hadnt spent the last 5 years identifying young talent and hiding them, so we went for mature aged players to be competitive.
8. It was only the one showdown that mattered most. Before the game your arrogant players were "boasting it would be dream to play the Crows" and "we win finals at Port"
9. Funny I think I can recall plenty of times Rutten actually spoiled the ball.

Agreed, about 70%/30%: Has changed significantly, from 1870 to 1990 it was Port 100%, Crows 0%.

I did answer the question. Our last finals loss was on the night of September 10 2005 at Football Park against a team known as the the team for all South Australians and otherwise known as the team for all South Australian's who drink Victorian beer and train on a carpark. We lost by 83 points, but they were also out of the finals race less than a week later.

Is that comprehensive enough for you or do I need to chuck in a few more lines?
