What a legend. I'm sure he was offered big coin to defect to Melbourne. I hope the club doesn't forget his loaylty and commitment to the HFC if/when things get tough in the future. Buddy could take a leaf out of his book also.

People think he just magically inherited a great list but he didn't. He just drafted tough skilled players and used his best picks on talls. Also he has picked off other clubs discards beautifully - Gibson and Hale have played BY FAR their best footy here, burgers and lake have been sensational pickups, and already Simpkin is making geelong stupid for delisting him.

So true. The Dew selection was a master stroke as well.
I also appreciate how Clarko has been introducing players in to the seniors after doing an 'apprenticeship' - Suckling, Grimley, Duryea.

Clarko is definitely on top of his game.

think i was tired when posting that cause yes i should have realised that was exactly what you were saying :oops: i think it is awesome that he does that to better the team that way
