Hope the big galoot can get on the field next season and show something
Unfortunately, not. So now he's been delisted by the club.

The GIANTS have informed ruckman Braydon Preuss that he will not be offered a contract for season 2025.

Preuss joined the club in the 2020 off-season, having previously played 18 games over six seasons with the Demons and North Melbourne. The 29-year-old enjoyed some strong AFL form across 10 games for the club in 2022 before a back injury derailed the majority of his 2023 season.

The hulking 207cm ruck entered the 2024 season fully fit and ready to press his case for selection in Adam Kingsley’s side but the 28-gamer suffered a hamstring injury in the early rounds of VFL with injury issues sidelining him for the remainder of the season.

GIANTS Executive General Manager of Football, Jason McCartney thanked the outgoing ruckman. “We’d like to thank Braydon for his contributions over the past four seasons,” McCartney said. “Unfortunately, Braydon struggled with ongoing injuries during his time with the club which impacted his ability to play consistent footy. Braydon continued to support his teammates throughout his challenges with injury and in the back half of this season stepped into a role in our VFL program. We’d like to wish Braydon all the best for the future.”

Here's his career - seasons 2023 & 2024 being wipeouts:
