Tall forward Peter Wright will be touch-and-go to face the Hawks at UTAS Stadium as he progresses from a calf injury, while David Zaharakis (hamstring) and Andrew McGrath (PCL) won't feature after injuries sustained against Richmond in round 12.

In the video Murphy said "low grade hamstring, will miss this week so '2 weeks' and should be available next week".

These ones where they don't fully elaborate in the article it's usually in the video, so worth watching rather than guessing.

Test to be available against Melbourne

Essendon veteran David Zaharakis is looming as an available selection ahead of the Bombers’ round 15 match-up with Melbourne.

The 224-gamer has made a quick recovery from a hamstring injury suffered against Richmond in the Dons’ round 12 Dreamtime in Perth clash.

Head of high performance Sean Murphy said the 31-year-old would complete a whole week of training and be listed as a test.

“’Zacka’s’ gone through his rehab process with his hamstring,” Murphy told Dons Digital’s Liberty Financial Performance Update.

“He’ll train fully this week and be a test this weekend. It’s all looking pretty positive at this point.”

Maybe Zaharakis looming means this

The notion of ‘whipping boy’ really rankles with me. Zaka goes alright. Can be the polish if we’re needing an end product to the good work. His best area is roaming across the half forward to wing zone. Can’t be deep forward as we need greater pressure snd tackling to keep it locked in and can’t be in defensive half as he doesn’t have the ability to halt forward thrusts. If he is the overlap working with the lead up forwards like Jones and Wright he can be a very dangerous forward as he can hit forward 50 targets and score goals. Not sure why they continue to give him time off half back…

Solid first game back in the VFL after being injured
David Zaharakis
Stats: 27 disposals, five marks, five tackles

“'Zacka' after being the sub the night before, it's always tough to get prepared for the game. He had 12 contested possessions and he got a lot of the ball on the outside as well, so he joined in our attack really well. He also defended, he had five tackles and it was a really solid game as a midfielder.”

Back playing scratch/VFL, wrist has pulled up well.

"Yeah Zaka was great actually, a bit of a different game with the scratch match and no VFL official match but had a bit of a top up with the North Melbourne players and the quality of that game was pretty impressive by all means.

So I think he returned really well and got what we want from a run-perspective and that wrist has pulled up no issues."

Would happily bring him into the side now with Jones out Waterman is now playing as pseudo KPF and not rotating through the midfield means after Parish, Merrett and Stringer who predominantly plays centre bounces we are very light on.

Jeez I take this back as I didn’t think Shiel was coming in this week.

Dropping Guelfi who kicked 1 goal and had 3 goal assists is a laughable decision.
