He's lost that initial burst of acceleration off the mark which means he has less time and space when he has possession of the ball which forces him into rushed decisions - Doubt this is fixable

First time I’ve watched that. Couldn’t disagree with any of that. Even most of Caro’s (poor) journalism and she still nails it.

Stanton was a great player, no superstar but was often tagged and if not was pushing 25 touches a game. Hit the scoreboard pretty often aswell. Would have gotten 250 at any club.

I’m all for dropping him but I did notice him trying to help position the zone on a couple of GWS kick outs.
