McGrath: 20m Sprint = 3.02secs, Repeat Sprint = 24.44secs, Agility = 8.38secs, 3km TT = 10:42, Beep Test = 13.1

McGrath is an eye poppingly good athlete and Snelling matches him. If he’s going to be 176cm and a success in this league he’s got to have something that separates himself and an athletic profile like that certainly does.

From what I saw of him as a junior his footy smarts weren’t an issue, his height and light frame would have been my main queries.

Is SANFL higher standard than VFL?

I'd say it's the weakest of the "big 3" state leagues

You sure about that? Would say they are pretty equal when it comes to youngsters and draft prospects. SANFL gets ripped apart in the draft most years.

That's due to the fact that the NAB League is seperate. If you actually look at the amount of players drafted aged 20+ you would see that the VFL has a higher percentage of draftees every year and has the hihger quality players too. Who's the best mature aged player drafted out of the SANFL?

He's posted some big tackling numbers there regardless of the quality of the league standard debate.

We need players with an appetite for the contest, plus he is clearly athletic and can use the ball. All required attributes.

It will be interesting to see if Woosha sticks with the "pecking order" (he shouldn't imo) . If you are going like for like then this guy comes straight in schnell.

Yeah he’s an undersized mid but he’s not built like Gleeson. Some reports say 70kg but that looks like his draft era. He’s at 77kg now. Should be fine to bully Kennedy and Cripps.

Having watched both over the years I would say SANFL is better than VFL due to the teams being tighter. The talent is higher in the VFL however because they have so many AFL listed players.

If there is one thing I didn't think the mid season draft would produce it's an SA vs Vic shit fight.

Not sure of his body shape now but in his last season at Port, Snelling had an AFL ready body. Parish and Smith are both listed as 77kgs so there's your height/weight comparison.

I love his stats this season, obviously hunts the ball and puts in a serious effort if he doesn't win it.

I like Will just hope that John Noble doesnt turn out to be the one we should have picked (Collingwood now). Bit taller, more endurance, gets his own ball and can kick a goal or two.
