What you say is correct.

It's as you suggest they do annoying things for no apparant reason.

Best exa,poke Sam McLure, adds nothing but a Whitney voice "begging" to be on the grown ups table,
Adds nothing but annoyance to the listener.

And they get him to check things??!? Really, he just repeats what's on websites

It's so patronising.

The one thing the media people rarely get, is that we the consumers actively dislike them when they think they are the story or the centre of things.

Anyway, new ratings came out yesterday. If I may quote myself from when the last ratings came out. :)

I'd expect sen to maintain the figures over the finals, but I wouldn't be surprised if the ratings yo-yoing bullshit occurs again.

I didn't go back to read the article again, but I'm pretty sure it was one of those bullshit things where he "wanted to focus on his other jobs/responsibilities."

So the bullshit line that you get that likely means we'll never know.
 
I expect Hamish and Lyon to vanish the week after the grand-final

Hopefully they will carefully select replacements for the summer period and not go Spud Dal Maher although Maher is a lock-in.

Haha, like what?

His uber-awkward half time NAB kids interviews?
His terrible commentating?
His shithouse weekend columns in the HS that I've never read or would have never had heard of if SEN didn't promote them.

He would be best served getting a weekly allowance from his rich parents and disappearing from public view. He adds zero.

The inclusions of him, Lyon and Frawley have put me off SEN.

I think it's mainly the TV work that he is going to focus on.

Not sure why Lyon would be gone, unless I've missed something? I can absolutely see Maher coming back to replace Hame:thumbsdown:

One I would like to see is Rohan Connolly replace Leech on afternoons.

Agree on RoCo. He's underused.

Don't see Lyon through your eyes. Reckon he adds little and he sounds half asleep to me. He'll be re-contracted, but you'd imagine on a lower deal as the program has failed to deliver anything like the ratings they anticipated.

Hamish has said he's leaving and my tip is that rather than adding another personality Watson will do the three hours rather than two.

Can't stand 'Spud'. A dead-set liability.

Every caller listening interstate is always listen on the app which is of course "crystal clear".

The phone number of that pub in Richmond is always "famous", yet I forget it the second after he says it.

I don't mind the Tigers, but his ridiculous predictions have put me off them to the point where I hope they get flogged.
