Something I noted about SEN's GF coverage, but hadn't mentioned yet. I thought there was a certain irony that a game that featured the third biggest losing margin in a GF by GWS, that Lyon and Cornes were the expert commentators for the game. Both being part of the losing end of the 2nd & biggest margins in a GF.

NRL Grand FInal is on, and no token coverage at least. But the station has a replay of last week's game. Laughable.
A number of you can bang on about how much you dislike league and get into a pissing contest over how much bigger you think the AFL GF is, but the NRL GF is effectively the same event and equal in status in this country.
Not even Foucault1989 can fault criticism in this regard.

But, yes, for a 24-7 sports station not to have the NRL Grand Final is embarrassing. I don't know how NRL Nation works into this.
Rugby league isn't American so Hutchison doesn't care.
Anyone understand the deal Croc Media have with TAB sports? I know the SENSA breakfast show is simulcast on RadioTabSA but it seems to be more than that this Spring Racing Carnival.

How's the way he was jizzin himself over the fact that our national anthem was sung without a backing track at the Grand Final, just because that's how they do it in the US?!
