Good question. So are we lead to believe it was solely his appearance on the breakfast celebration the other week? Seems like if they were all that sure of him then they should have bought him back years ago. Maybe he had to 'break bread' with Hutchy. Apparently was fairly bitter.
Looking forward to angry and upset supporters, usually blues fans losing their absolute minds.

Hutchy has been chasing him for at least a couple of years but Finley recently bought a food business in Caufield so he’s been very busy with that so he didn’t really have the time for it. He’s said that he’s willing to come back for one shift a week as long as his package includes being able to promote Lenny’s fine foods in north caufield, I think that’s what it’s called. The Richmond players were “all duds” according to Billy … and then the Tigers went on to snare 3 flags !!

To be fair thanks to CA taking the ODI’s off FTA cricket effectively ends once the last game goes off the TV which is effectively the end of Jan.

Not sure of the timelines but had that same thought myself.
Another unforgettably raw moment was the night the news broke that Ross Lyon was headed to Fremantle.
Finey was livid and didn’t hold back with words to the effect …
“Somewhere, on a plane over the Nullarbor tonight, Ross Lyon has rooted the St.Kilda fc” !!
I wonder if Finey has forgiven Ross upon his return?

I enjoyed the stream Finey and Roco did after the friday night games a few seasons ago on twitter.

They can hold a Test series in late Feb-early March, and there'll be some dummy on the station and callers crapping on about why they are having such a game at that time of year. There's a conditioning towards footy.
