Sam responds "we need content....gotta feed the beast"/
Morris kknows and loves his cricket. excellent host for the sport.Better talk on cricket in 1 hour of Morris' show than in 1 year of Dwayne.
Morris doing midday madness and very good
heard him discuss his days @ St.Kilda CC weeks back,2nds level ? i could be mistaken. How good was/is Tom Morris at cricket?
He did and then last year made 204no opening for South Caulfield in the Cricket Southern Bayside leagueI think he said he played a bit in the firsts
For all his smarminess, gutter journalism and private school boy persona, he was great at Fox, he's been great on Nine, and he's great on SEN. There really is something to the young, sports-loving person who knows their stuff and can present themselves well in the media.Morris kknows and loves his cricket. excellent host for the sport.
inb4 "too much cricket"
He is/was pretty good. How good was/is Tom Morris at cricket?
^^^^^^^He had much more variety than Pipe , knows his sports Yank and was knowledgeable on soccer with Hill , he makes guests open up with good questions . The only regular i heard was that typical Pies fan Dave from Melton , just shows Pipe attracts nuf nufs
the possibility is i think that with the cut n thrust kill or be killed expectation coupled with the anxiety of aussie rules' win @ at all costs (no matter what level )mentality which absolutely permeates thruout that industry from the time your abt 8^^^^^^^
Never a truer word spoken. the questions are concise and probing. Unlike many afl journos/hosts who like to ask long winded questions.
I dont know how well he knows Simon Hill, are they friends? But listening to the segment it felt like they are. Great rapport. So people ask why doesnt anyone else on the station ie watson, lyon, dwayne, act in the same manner in terms of knowledge. I simply say i dont know why.
You have completely lost methe possibility is i think that with the cut n thrust kill or be killed expectation coupled with the anxiety of aussie rules' win @ at all costs (no matter what level )mentality which absolutely permeates thruout that industry from the time your abt 8
i think its probably safe to say it would most likely stunt the development of your brain by not allowing it to bloom to its full potential ? n thats before all the king hits, backhanders, stomping on fingers, elbows to the jaw
practically looking over ya shoulder 2-4 hrs a week for 24 years (training included) so ya dont get sniped and put out of a job ya good at and enjoy is gonna take some mental toll and indecision on ya facultys in the long run i rkn
having a drink or a chat with a bloke for eg during the week and then come the weeknd your prepared to knock his head off at any cost just to win a game is gonna have some long lasting detrimental effect in the long run i rkn
It really doesn't take much to be better than Dwayne Russell though to be fair.De Stoop on today , he's better than the Pipe as well
Corn and Edmund have good chemistry. As do Corn and Kingy.
just on this.....hosts need to realise the guests are teh stars of the show not themHe had much more variety than Pipe , knows his sports Yank and was knowledgeable on soccer with Hill , he makes guests open up with good questions . The only regular i heard was that typical Pies fan Dave from Melton , just shows Pipe attracts nuf nufs
