So no other games matter?

Enjoy the championship then.

We've only played one game in the PL against teams that matter, namely Bournemouth. Not sure why that offends you.

I'm not offended, I'd think when you're in a relegation battle every game would matter.

Losing to Chelsea does not matter.

Beating the teams around us matters as that is a '6-pointer' - i.e. denying a rival any points while claiming maximum ourselves.

We've achieved this against Bournemouth. We have free hits in our next three PL games where any points are bonuses, and then we have a run of about 6 games where we should hopefully win 2-3.

I am not having this conversation in two spots with you.

But but but...

Don't you just love how not a single United fan has bothered to accept that NOTHING BAD HAPPENED to United in that game.

ROFL:$:$

Yawn.

Baffling theory.

Given the relatively low amount of points between relegation rivals, I would of thought every single game against the top sides (which historically all the other relegation threatened teams lose to) becomes essentially a relegation saving game.

Such a baffling theory that most managers subscribe to it.

Do you understand the concept of a 6-pointer?

Do you understand the concept of a 6-pointer?

Why do you always ask people if they understand things?

"Most managers"

Do you understand what the concept of most is?

I'm pretty sure most of the leagues managers don't automatically write off 32 games on their fixture.

Sunderland scored 11 points (28% of their points) in games last year against Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea.

They survived by 2 points.

You may want to revise that strategy.

Probably because I'm confused by your line of logic in this, so clearly you fail to understand the concept of a 6-pointer.

Where did I say that teams should write off 32 games (which, I'm not sure on your maths, because it seems you're suggesting that only 4 teams are in a relegation battle)?

Maybe understand what I've said, and then get back to me without the antagonism.
