It's why I continue to state, I don't get attached players anymore.

They are Richmond football club assets to me, no one is bigger than the club.

When we were winning flags though all the players seemed bonded to the common goal. Now they are all jumping ship. The club is severely lacking leadership. Cotchin and JR8 are sorely missed and not just for their onfield heroics.

I thought there was a lot of selfishness in Rioli’s play this year. Tried too hard to do the flash stuff and individual stuff, while the others did the team things like manning up and defending.

I've said all year that anyone who doesn't want to be here, needs to be honest with the club and move on if they can't fully invest in what Yze is trying to do. I actually applaud Daniel for asking to be traded, when it could have been easy to sit back with his future secured and coast through the next 3-4 years.
