He was pretty good, especially in the first half. We wouldn't have gotten close in the first half if he didn't provide the pressure and kick important goals when everyone else was missing.

Really developing well.

Contested forward line and relatively little rebound like past weeks but he still managed to do his part.

Will be better once back onto the big grounds. He looks to be really working on his contested part of his game so I think he's not far away from having a big game.

With all that ground level work rate? Not possible.
You may try to hide it at times mate, but we all know you have a sense of humour Bruno.

Has become a very cruical part of our forward mix. 1.5 goals a game is a good, handy return from a bloke just entering into our system.

On track to kick 20+ goals. Would take that at the start of the year
An underrated part of his game I think is how he recognises if another forward is in a better position to mark, and he makes space for them. Pivotal part of how the three tall forward setup can function effectively.

The Frenchcut alluded to it above but Stewart has a really good knack of knowing when not to launch and make space.

A couple of times yesterday, and numerous times this year he pulled out when he saw hooker or Joe was in better position and made dangerous positions forward of the pack. Too many talls launch into each other nowadays so this is quite a good knack

Slotted in quite well. Should be focussed on high marking skills. As much as there's talk abour him not launching - I'd like to see the launching.

I really liked his game vs Collingwood. He's not a star and I doubt he ever will be however as a third tall he is very handy. If I was to give an optimistic projection for where he could get to I would be looking at a guy like Tom Lynch for Adelaide. That guy that can kick a few goals and serve as an important link man with his hard running.

His mobility is impressive (it was like a giant Fantasia was out there as he ran down the ground and kicked that running goal) and he's also a very nice shot at goal. Probably the most reliable of all our forwards. He's been pretty much good for 2 goals a game and being a tall with his mobility and endurance allows us to play 3 talls which means he gets a mismatch most weeks.

Contested marking isn't really his go except on his really good days but I reckon as he gets more experienced he will get better at his body work particularly against smaller players. I'm sure working alongside Hooker will help in that area. This is an area that will likely take him a few years to really develop. To his credit though I don't recall his opponent marking a whole lot either - so even if he isn't dominating at least he's helping the ball get to ground level.

I do agree on the selfless calls - I remember a particular marking contest where he was basically slightly forward of where the ball was going to land and Daniher was behind and as he realised Daniher was in a better position he subtly blocked his direct opponent to allow Daniher the free launch at it. Those sorts of plays are really important to getting a forward line to work effectively.

Will be good if he can be the one to take over from Hooker once he's finished.

I sound like a broken record, but this isn't going to happen, as there is effectively no contested marking in his game. That's OK though, think he is playing really well in his current role.

Loved the Collingwood commentary. Averaging as many goals as their best key forward as 3rd fiddle.

That move to create space for Daniher to mark was great play.
