I've got The Marching Girls 'True Love' 7" single (Au-Go-Go) at home. To be honest, I always preferred the 'B-side'

The vinyl sound quality so much better than this vid.
And Marie Hoy & Friends version of Shivers I've always liked over all the others.

Back to the Marching Girls briefly. This iteration of the band released ‘Safe as Houses’ in 1987 and it was a big of a 3RRR Breakfasters Hit. Always a massive fan of the ‘wake and bake’, I used to love tuning into Chris Hatzis and Richard Neil, who were presenting at the time. I made a mixture tape, recorded ‘off air’ that I still have today. It was first rate radio.

Appeal to young men and stoke the fires of dissent. Divide and conquer is as old as the hills as a tactic and this one of dividing the population via the same method as the incel culture makes me want to vomit.

It's sickening. It's evil and I am really concerned for the future.

The U.S.A. is on a precipice.

I'll say this here in a safe space:

I can't comprehend the evil that trump and his disgusting cohort brings to western (including us) civilisation. It's 1933 all over again and I never thought I'd have to face politicised fascism in my life, and yet I am. And in such a way that represses comments.

I would have included ‘Primary’ in there somewhere and ’Let’s Go to Bed’ seems another obvious omission.

I think they are the victims of sympathy votes for the track off Bloodflowers and The Cure (album). Neither track is in the same ballpark as the two you have listed - both are great.

I think you are right. That was 100% my first thought. That would be Option One - swap out 'The Last Day of Summer' and 'The End Of The World'. Option (very very distantly behind) Two is that in my view 'Pornography' is a little overrated and I would swap out 'A Strange Day' and even 'One Hundred Years' for 'Primary' and 'Let's Go To Bed'.

I tend to agree. I rate Faith and Head On The Door above Pornography.
