I've just been on a whirlwind trip to Melbs to the dentist amongst other things. Got to go back again twice (drats) and it take 2 months to make appointments.

I was about to post the below, haven't finished reading it yet but strikes me that first it was the Russians fiddling with English politics now its the Tech-Bros. Landsakes!

She was a novice cartographer who landed a dream assignment: to create an atlas of the setting of “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings.”

Commiserations about the dentist. I find the dentist just about the most triggering place to be.

Just skipped through my show and recreated the playlist. Not surprisingly, my taste is much the same. Hearing myself chatting away thirty years ago was kind of strange. I was buzzing up about an upcoming REM and Died Pretty show at the Myer Music Bowl that I had tickets for on the 26th Jan. it was me, but the 32 year old version.

Died Pretty were a truly brilliant band. I loved their ‘Next to Nothing’ EP so much. Still do.
