It'll swing everywhere in overcast conditions tomorrowBroad was the only one consistently swinging it or in fact bowling menacingly. They'll need him to do it many more overs and get a lot more help.
Pitch seems in fine shape.

I trust ussie to navigate it well. Head I dunno. Green should do a bit. Carey ok once he’s set as long as he doesn’t have any brain fadesIt'll swing everywhere in overcast conditions tomorrow
He can barely stand. That took a lot out of him.
Can't wait to see the back of him. He always does it against us in England.Without stuart broad england would be quite ****ed. Incredible cricketer.
It's rain rain rain then sunny intervals. Way different to just rocking up in dry but overcast conditions first thing. It'll swing everywhere in overcast conditions tomorrow
Absolutely irrelevant to my point. He must receive better help tomorrow. He would be one of the first picked in my test team.
Charges in all day and gives you everything he's got.
I hope you're right. A wet outfield could screw the ball up. Until they ask to get it changed, of course. It's rain rain rain then sunny intervals. Way different to just rocking up in dry but overcast conditions first thing.

They will find a ‘spray’ to keep it dry....I hope you're right. A wet outfield could screw the ball up. Until they ask to get it changed, of course.
Who’s worse fourth innings lyon or smithSmith without a 4th innings fifty since 2016!
I mean the forecast could be wrong but it's "Heavy rain changing to sunny intervals in the afternoon." for now. So yes bits of cloud, rain and sun but not just two sessions of overcast unless we're extremely unlucky.I hope you're right. A wet outfield could screw the ball up. Perhaps this afternoon was a temporary blip but something was certainly off kilter about him. Robinson looked lively enough but consistently dangerous like Broad? Not really. And then there's Mo.Anderson needs to step up, he bowled like a 40 year old veteran today.

A very rough estimate I'd say 40-60 overs. So let's say 50. It'll be tight.Looks like the chase won't even be on, then.
I don't see how we get enough play in.
Tomorrow will have clouds and humidity. Maybe some rain..
Its not going to be a day of glorious sunshine where batting is a stroll . Maybe there wont be enough time to force a result.
The guy doesn't sleep during matches - I think it's pretty clear that's a major issue judging by how much his record deteriorates by innings of the gameSmith without a 4th innings fifty since 2016!
I can remember 2009 at Edgbaston. The first two sessions of the first day were lost to rain. When play started, it was sunny but the ball did nothing. Watson, Katich and Ponting crashed a lot of runs.I mean the forecast could be wrong but it's "Heavy rain changing to sunny intervals in the afternoon." for now.
