there will be some cheap gems aswell like enright and j brown

my lock in premiums... lake, god, hodge, swan, didak, montagna, sandi,

I'll be trying to squeeze all these players into my first team but I think I'll have a very tough time doing that.

Swan, Lake, Sandi, Goddard, Hodge, Selwood

Not a premium but Andy Otten is my first lock of 2011, although he will hardly be a unique pick.

half the crows side might be in my team, only if they can get a half decent pre-season into them this time. i cant remember a more decimated line up going into round 1 - and then it got worse.

Fair point you make, but with the bye it will be harder to put a heap of players from one team.

But Otten aside I could have any of Bock, Tippett, Vince, Porplyzia, Mackay, Dangerfield, Martin and Knights in my team. Tracking of their pre season will be vital to work which ones will bounce back.

These four would be locks for all supercoachers who are half decent! Riewoldt would be the cheapest he's been for a while next season. If he strings a half decent pre season, lock him in for everyone!

Boyd, Duffield, Gilbert are unique-ish locks for me

GAJ why has nobody mentioned him? he will be the cheapest he has been in yrs at the begining of next yr..

BROWN will be in 99.99% of teams, only teams he wont be in are those tht select autofill

ROO still 5 weeks left so his price will rise but if it doesnt for any reason then most if not all will jump on him first

ENRIGHT is a good SCer and has had an off month so he will be on a few SCer's books

GODDARD/HODGE/SANDI/SELWOOD/CHAPPY/SWAN....Given

GOODES forget it...every yr is the same, loses 100k in first 10 weeks and 2nd half of teh season he fires, he has always been an upgrade target for SC over the yrs

Every pre season they bring up the 'fact' that Goodes is a slow starter when it really isn't the case. He has scored consistently at the start of the season most years. This year is the exception but there were reasons with him being played as key forward. Bradshaw going down certainly didn't help. Now that Roos has pushed him into the midfield (possibly to counteract ROKs lessening influence) he has come out firing.

Goodes could be a great pick up if he is played through the midfield but that will rely on Jessie White steping up and Bradshaw being fit. It will also depend on what the new coach decides to do with him. Age may also become a factor but he will no doubt be on a lot of people's radars next year.

Oh and one of the reasons I haven't mentioned Gaz is that until we know who he plays for I won't be locking him in. This also coincides with the rise of a few players to be the equal of Gaz (in Goddard & Swan) & to be honest you can't fit them all into your starting squad

If Deledio is down as a MID/DEF then he'll be a popular starter...
and Petrie is looking like a good pick for next year too

David Armitage if he ends up going to Gold Coast????
Bryce Gibbs as a mid/def would very handy also.

Lake was a good call by me this year and I will go that way again. Will lock in Hodge, Goddard, Swan, Chapman and Riewoldt from the start too.

My unique pick-whoever ends up replacing Milburn-I will watch closely.

I'd almost be adding James Kelly to that list, as a Defender. Should score even more next year if Little Gaz leaves.

Would love to see the DEF tag taken off Hodge and Goddard. Would really make the game interesting, otherwise every team will continue to have them in the backline. It's almost irrelevant what they score, as guarenteed that your opponent will have them as well.

Otten and Petrie will be in everyones side next year.

It's tough to say because there should be more MPP's next year but my list would be -
Goddard, Hodge
Swan, Selwood
Sandi
Roo, Brown, Pav

Those first 5 would be absolute top dollar so with the dual positioning there's probably more of a case for going with a bit of value.
