Maybe. I'm sure I watched Jetta kick five off a wing for Swan Districts.

Jetta and Kraks, two totally different players with different skills and traits...

From memory, Kraks kicked 4 in the same final a 16yo Coniglio kicked 4. Neither of them off a wing.

Seems to be a lot of holes here...

It is not in football clubs DNA to try and finish low on the ladder. Judd type players come along once in a blue moon.

You misunderstood my entire post.

We are topping up our club with mid level players so we don't miss finals.

Why don't we go back to drafting and playing kids and let our club finish where the kids let us.
If that means we bottom out so be it.
I know about Judd ffs. I'm using him as an example. Is that too hard for you to comprehend?

I guess you enjoy losing a final by 12 goals.

I must be thinking of the 2009 state game when he kicked three goals. My bad. He was very good that day.

I'm expecting retirements + delistings + several debuts next year and probably will take a while to get used to Perth Stadium.

I think we will miss next year and 50/50 make it the year after.

Honestly I'm expecting a moderate improvement next year, based on

- Return of the Nicnat going somewhere to fix what, for all the talk about Vardy and Petrie having good years, has been easily the worst ruck division in the league.

-Priddis and Mitchell being replaced with surprising ease by Sheed, redden and the next tier of midfielders- truth be told, a lot of Mitchell and Priddis' supposed good form this year have just been players posting the numbers any midfielder who plays 80% of the game on ball will get whilst the team gets arseraped hard in the clearances due to their lack of pace and inability to run defensively- I think they will be replaced smoothly and rapidly.

-McGovern, Yeo and Shuey continuing into the best years of their career and Kennedy probably having his last elite season.

So I think we we will be 4th-6th and finish the year getting hammered by genuine finals contenders again when the lack of elite midfielders and inadequate coach shine through in games that matter.
