Looks like it was the year of Back 2 Backs.
Reading there it seems like it might be easier for some clubs when you read Back 2 Back and 3 peats and 4 out of 5ives but even winning one is hard enough work

After 38 years since our last success, and eight Grand Final disappointments during that time, Yeronga (South Brisbane) got there by 18 points over Wynnum.

Nor-West Jets AFC scored back-to-back premierships in the Sydney AFL Division 2, with a 17 point win over Uni of NSW/East Sydney Bulldogs,Jets finishing year undefeated, and earning promotion to Division 1 for 2007.
