I have made this thread because willy who are a good team this year had one player picked for interleague.THAT IS A JOKE!
jordan mead got picked-deserved it!
althoght there are other players who should be in the side for sure and be looked aat for next year western jets
these playes have gone under the rader for the 2 years and this year all of them have steeped up to be controling the games.
PHIL JOHNSON-plays mid.medium sized-gets a great amount of the ball and is so hard.puts his head over the footy.puts preasure on 24-7 and lays the best tackles.dose the hard stuff and gets the ball out and dosent get looked at????????
MATT PATTERSOn-1st year at the club.playered interleague for the last 4 years and at willy is playing great footy.anouther tough kid.plas mid or half back.great player
DAN -tall ,takes marks great kick.plays key .why not picked or invited????
NATHan SAMBESKI-never played rep footy.2nd year at club footy.runs with the footy,quick,nice kick.stands our for his boots.soft but can get around that with speed.why he dopsent get pickeddd???

all these playes should of been invited and would get in.theres 15 werrble kids that got invited like always.most of them play c's.

will be tight at finals-willy-werrble-st bernards
 
From your descriptions I can't see any reason y they wouldnt even get an invite.

Pretty shit.

But better luck next year.

Oh and their are no Werribee in the c's. If there was we would beat them :D
 
WRFL side is short for Werribee Rigged Football League. Always has been and always will be. Bunch of sucks. If any of you guys from other clubs miss out dont worry. The league will fill a shit side as long as most are from Werribee. Shit Farmers the lot of them. and if you think I am wrong look at the final lists of all inter league sides once finalised.

Why not?

Doesnt Werribee Juniors have teams in A grade grand finals every year, clearly the best players from the Western Region come from the Wyndham area such as Werribee, Hoppers and Wyndhamvale.

And if you dont believe me just look at the players that have been drafted from the jets or who the better players are for the jets at the moment!

So what you're saying is the worst few werribee interleague players are better then the top few players from a team like williamstown? (any bets about 8+ werribee kids got picked)
I wouldn't disagree with this, until you look at the weekends results, and what ive heard willi V werribee was a close match.

rep squad isnt about the best team. its bout the best individuals..
the best players for each of the spots on the ground..

yer ive playd alot of rep footy too nd while i was growing up thought that it was all wezza nd was rigged and everything.
but as some1 has already sed wezza hav had a team in the grand final nearly every year and hav got a high ratio of players going on the play Western Jets football

What I'm saying is the best player in Willi 16A's would have to compare to at least a few of the 8 or so kids that got chosen from werribee. If he didn't, you'd think werribee would flog willi in a match, if they had the supposedly 8 best players on the ground

But the thing is players in the 16s Jets squad cannot play interleague!

So Willy's best 5 or so (possibly more) are at the Jets.

They dont have the depth of dominant players like Werribee do.

Werribee are a strong squad and a majority of very talented players that can play rep. footy. Therefore the majority of their team is at the Jets or at interleague.
 
Proof of the depth of Werribee is there 2nd team playing in B and are untouchable.
Only competitor at this stage is North Sunshine and they dont play each other till round 10 (june 15)
Would like to see Werribee, Willy and Spotty 2nd teams in B grade to see how they go.

Werribee B's are obviusly the strongest of those 2nd teams

they are kicking ass in the B's while Willi and Spotty are playing in the D's

how are they still playing in the D's and kicking everyones ass without going up?

Werribee B's have already played Nth Sunshine and won but not by a lot though

GO through and look at all VIC Metro players. There might 5 draftees from The Willi area but there has been plenty of Vic Metro Representative from Werribee.

boys,your getting off the topic.we are talking about the interleague team of 2008.

and i would say there are 3 boys trying out for vic from willy and 3 boys trying out for werribee.so i would say its preety even if not in our favour with trent already playing tac.GUN!

werribee B's would kick ass easily

they could compete in A's and still finish top 4......
whoever said this dose not know anything and probs should not be playing footy.

Spotswood D's are still playing there because the majority of the side is underage.

If memory serves, they went up, got caned and put in an application to the league to come down again.
And when I say caned, I mean caned.
