You message me :p

Thank you sir. :thumbsu:

I was just having a look at the poker premiers site and didn't realise we had so many Saints supporting players on here.

All of us no doubt inspired by the deeds of Eric Bana in Lucky You and Shane Warne in his WSOP ME debut.

Well that was disgusting I had 3,3 vs Ace,7 and the board paired with jacks and 10s so the ace played. He didn't even have to hit anything ffs.

May have to look to next week already with half my stack gone.

Played my 45ss. Floped a gutshot, turned a flush draw, and made flush on river. Knew I was up against AT+. I was, but ATss unfortunately.

That pot was raised pre-flop, remember. So not sure the poker gods will smile on you for playing that kind of hand in that situation...

I wouldn't limp with 45ss. You raised 3/4BB in first level, and your betting represented AT+

This is the best time to play suited connecters and is certainly not bad play. I just got unlucky (poker gods nothing to do with it)

EDIT: This post is more trying to offer advice btw, not defending my play. People should look into playing small suited connecters - its helped my play.

The time for suited connectors is from late position with a few limpers already in front of you. Cheap to play and with monster potential if you hit.

Shouldn't be playing them out of position, in a heads up or 3 way pot, or in a raised pot.

You'd know more than me, but I don't limp with them (In a tournament that is). Early in a tournament, I think they are fine to play 3/4BB's, and to stay in the hand if you've put your opponent on a hand.

EDIT: Im out, fingers crossed for next week.

Just need to be careful. Don't want to get into a big pot, with few opponents, when you kind of hit but don't make a monster. Really hard to know where you are at.

Ideal scenario for them is late position, blinds still low and a number of limpers. You get in cheap, there is some substance to the pot through sheer weight of numbers, your hand is well disguised if you hit something (ideally a straight, which hides easier than a flush) and easy to get away from if you miss.
