Really liking what ive seen of the stars this season..taking it to detroit today..

top two lines have started on fire in 3 games..Morrow 4 goals, eriksson 3, ribeiro 5 assists, richards 2 goals and 4 assists and neal 5 points..

defense has been ok and looks much improved, and kari lehtonen has been strong..

looking very good could definately be a playoff team this season..finishing between 6-8 in the west is a definate goal..

intersting stat that Loui eriksson has scored the 3rd most goals in the last two + seasons in the west with 68, only trails marleau (82) and Nash (74) leads hossa and Iginals by 1, pretty fair company....Loui is so underrated,

Playoffs hinge on Lehtonen. If he can stay healthy you're a shot, otherise i'd say you miss cause Raycroft is pretty terrible.

Oilers impersonated the Hans tonight, lost the game via stupid penalties. All four Wild goals from power plays.

Anyone tried the mosaic feature on GameCenter Live?

I had five games on the go this morning. Four on mosaic and the Lightning vs Flyers on Foxsports. A good morning's viewing. :thumbsu:

Predators look solid once again this season. Looks like they've found another extremely good goalie with Anders Lindback as Rinne's back up. Watch out for Cal O'Reilly (Av Ryan's older brother), I can't remember seeing him before but he looks like a very good prospect. he is centering Steve Sullivan and Patric Hornqvist

Fantastic to see the Sutters struggling. Currently losing at home to the Panthers. They're showing going undefeated in the preseason means absolutely nothing.

Did anyone else see the Letang hit on Comeau? Comeau mishandled the puck, Letang comes from the side with a beautiful hip and shoulder, Comeau's helmet goes flying off and he falls to the ice. Letang ends up with a 5 minute major and a game misconduct.

FOR A ****ING HIP AND SHOULDER!

Then the idiot refs changed the call to an illegal hit to the head from behind. Unless Comeau's head is in his armpit then these refs have no idea.

Devils stinking it up again tonight. Not surprising looking at their defencemen.

Greene - Tallinder
White - Taormina
Urbom - Corrente

I reckon they've pulled three of those from the crowd...

Lol, they're not that bad. Tallinder and White are both good D-men and Greene is ok. The other three are young kids but have some potential. Sure there is no big names like Chara, Keith or Green but they get the job done.

Taormina could be a good one though.

Pens get the win but no thanks to the refs. They were so terrible that apparently the Isles commentators were complaining. To be fair to them, our goal in OT came thanks to a dodgy hooking call on the Isles that gave us our 8th PP that we finally scored on.

If that crew work another game ever, it will be too soon.

Is there some kind of requirement that the guys calling the Ducks/Thrashers game speak only in a monotone?

Totally calling a SO on that game as well.

EDIT: Close thing though, Fowler clear and with plenty of time shoots it wide with 30 seconds left and then the Thrashers have a breakaway chance that Hiller only just stops...

Where's Volchenkov?

lol @ Rags. only 9 shots on Toronto and getting belted the other way.
Volchenkov broke his nose a few nights ago after copping a Nicklas Backstrom shot.

The Rags could be in some real injury trouble now. They lost Drury and glass man Gaborik today. Gaborik's is a separated shoulder (gone for 2-3 weeks) and Drury's is a broken finger, out for six weeks.

As for the Pens, we look terrible. Our PP can't fire a shot. I'm starting to doubt that it was all Mike Yeo's fault (the PP coach for the last few seasons). You'd think with the two-headed monster, it'd be easy enough to set up a PP unit that can a) get into the zone onside; b) set up the box/umbrella/whatever else; c) get a few clean passes and move the goalie around; d) get some good quality scoring chances.

For whatever reason, we look like we're shorthanded every single time.
