yep i just saw the stats on ff... last year
gaz v hawks= 169/138 ave 153
roo v rooz= 106/104 ave 105

so wheres the automatic captain button

It was always going to be Rooey this week, will murder North. Gazza a possibility to get tagged by Hawthorn, or play on Mitchell.

I was thinking Roo as well, but he hasn't done well against us in the past, and i suspect he will be double teamed on the weekend. Might lock in Montagna, as i don't think we have enough players to tag All of NDS, Hayes and Montagna.

If i wanted to have to make a captain decision every week, i would have saved myself 100k and gotten swan instead.

That said, the pies against melbourne do look tempting.

I would have considered Buddy last week, but when push came to shove, still would have gone Ablett. I'd be a nervous wreck looking at scores all weekend if I tried someone else as skipper. Given enough time during the week to study things, a lot of Supercoaches can end up out-thinking themselves.

Selwoods last game is interesting.

I didn't get Ablett, I felt I could get good value from Selwood.

Worked for me last rd. Plus his last game vs Hawthorn was 185 - I can only hope

Selwood my likely choice this week also. Perhaps Pendles against Melbourne could be a good smokey as well. I decided against Ablett in the end as League win is my priority so can afford to leave him out and hope for a price drop down the line.

I feel like an idiot now, just remembered that Ablett got 34 possesions in the 2008 GF and looking back he got 35 and 33 against Hawthorn last year.

It's going to be hard to Stop Roo, he has a huge tank on him. We will need to run 2 players off him to try and tire him. Forwards to tend to do well against us, but we should bee able to stop him.

And you know we are missing our best Defender in Gibson
