Re: Injuries & Suspensions Thread

I have a spare trade and not sure whether to trade Shuey.
Hmmm but is it really worth blowing a trade =/.

Re: Injuries & Suspensions Thread

Man this guy cant catch a break, the say it is likely to be a tendon strain or tendonitis, could play through it, but he is virtually a ticking time bomb. Poor guy had OP last year then broke his leg, I guess its that unlucky number 13 on his guernsey ;).
I heard it could be a fracture, but we will find out more next week :(

Something might be up at Freo, might have something to do with our boy Barlow.

Rib Complaint, I'm hearing.

I've heard it to BUT I don't think they will risk Palmer just yet it could be Just Freo playing mind games Besides Barlow played the rest of the game last week HOPEFULLY Barlow will play Could it be possible that they are getting Rhys used to traveling again like they did with that Fyfe kid a couple of weeks ago????

Re: Injuries & Suspensions Thread

Just saw that Shuey has minor knee bruising. Going in for scans to determine how bad it is. Probably a 1-2 week injury at this point.

Now the question is, should we ditch him for Moles this week.

Cheers. Wow! Thats unreal that you mention the Moles trade because that is exactly what i ended up doing! Needed the spare cash already I figured...

Re: Injuries & Suspensions Thread

Mitchell has had his hammy iced up according to Fanfooty, he's been a disaster as a premium for me so far this year.

Re: Injuries & Suspensions Thread

Not looking good for Shuey owners.
Exciting midfielder Luke Shuey also looks set to join the injury-ravaged Kerr in a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Shuey, just 19, played the opening three games of the season after a horror 2009 with severe osteitis pubis.

The tigerish midfielder-forward also had scans yesterday to establish the extent of his latest knee problems

Re: Injuries & Suspensions Thread

Was starting to regret my Shuey > Moles trade this week, but looks like I dodged the bullet.

Very unlucky for Shuey though, kid just can't catch a break.

Re: Injuries & Suspensions Thread

Meh, nearly everyone else would be going down with me, nothing to worry about.

... not me ...

Didn't jump on the JB train and while there's injury rumors I'm still not happy I missed JB's run none-the-less. A few weeks injury could be a good thing for those of us that missed him though SC-wise. Personally, JB is probably my favorite player outside of the Sydney team so wouldn't wanna see him too banged up... But a few quiet weeks back could mean his price drops and those that missed him can jump on. ;)

Re: Injuries & Suspensions Thread

Shuey has been listed on the injury list for a further 2 weeks due to some sort of a knee injury. Do I take a gamble and hold on to him and trust that he'll be back in 2 , or do I trade him out for Lucas before his price goes up ?

I'll be sitting on him for the 2 weeks. Other rookie mids should pop up over the coming weeks in case you do need to trade him- Cunnington for example.
