No need to keep us guessing, i was only trying to get some info out of you but if this is how its going to be i will have to let the cat out of the bag for you.
Brad nicholson shifted to rutherglen last year he played approx 50 games for the footscray FC in the AFL in the late 90s then went to SNAFL for acouple of years, played 2 years at oak park in the EDFL and then went to greensborough inthe DVFL, he was a gun at oak park but stuffef his shoulder in the 2000 GF, his high light in the AFL was getting 10 kicked on him by Ablett snr, but he was on a footy card. has not played for a while but will add experience for an old man.

How was that cat did i miss anything, as for the other bloke, who knows.

NICHO YOU BIG PIG what are you thinking.:p

Good Work - like everything in footy these days nothing is for certain.

I see you have made metion of Mitta in one or two of your posts - is it fact or rumour that their has been quite a few jump ship from Tallangatta and have made their way to Mitta - Tim Kennedys name has been linked as one of those.

Oh and by the way - how many goals did you keep Gary Ablett snr to when you played on him

Sorry cat i am not Brad, he is not so open about his career, would be handy if he played but the odds of him playing are to high to even back him in,

As for Mitta, to be honest cat i would not know a whole heap about them, but i have heard they are going to be pretty handy, this is one side that has flown right under the radar, i suspect a top 3 finish.

tim kennedy moved to melbourne not playing at mitta!

Have it on good word that Beechy have lost the 2 Hallidays, 2 Dales and Kearton. May have regained Pigsy Collins which would be a huge plus but probably won't be bigger than losing the league leading goal kicker. Beechworth may struggle this year!

Wodonga never lost a coach by the way....romeril was useless. Results can be seen by his past coaching performances and by speaking to nearly ever individual at the past clubs. Those who he still has sucked in have followed him........look for Murray Magpies to have a massive year........in netball!!
Dont know where you get you info from dipper. I work with a block who plays for beechwoth. Hallidays, Kearton have signed, pigs never left the he played 8-10 last year in the 2's when home from Adelaide, he is moving home and will be a great defender in any side. Jay Dale is back at the club this week, looks like they may have lost his brother to the Murry Bushranger, hes been killing them in the practice match's.At the age of fifteen the year of senior footy in a classy side would do any kid wonder, Good luck to you Lee well done

Not a bad get if he is, Ben is now super fit and a handy player. Has plenty of experience to bring to what will prob be a young saints 2's side

Will the Saints even be able to field a 2's side? They had trouble doing it last year and that was before 1/2 the club did the Harry Houdini.

My guess is that most people were unimpressed and not happy with the seniors coach last year and they left . Thats what usually happened when they can't coach!!!

This years senior coach is all positive and look to build the club and its future. The club will field all sides and endeavour to be competitive. ;)

if ben warne takes that job he is crazy why would he leave barny to finish bottom of the ladder? least he would get a full season in the one's thoe.

[I think you were right with your first 2 words "my guess", because i think thats all you and others that write have done. This is be no means a defence for the senior coach but coaches in general are easy targets when things go south at a club. Any club that wished to go North of a bad season would need to have a hard look at itself both on and off thefield . Get a direction and have the conviction to stick to it and not make adhoc decisions. I could site other reasons, bit to what gain. /quote]

You blokes must be sick of talking about "Wodonga Saint's" because I'm sick of hearing about them. who cares! If you want to talk about a side that struggled last year then lets talk about Chiltern. they have picked up some very handy footballers this year(Way, Simons, maybe the 2 Shannon boys, at least 1 anyway Andrews who can be very damageing on the right day 2 new coach's both Phibbs boys only played half a season last year and are keen to impress the same goes for Woods not to mention some of the other local guy, Dicko and Casidyto name a couple. Look's good from here. My prediction top 5.

Well done to Chiltern on getting the club back on track, have definately got some quality people involved at the club and handy players on board as well, i wish them well for the upcoming season. However i'm not sure about the top 5 prediction Playmate, Chiltern are coming from a long way back and depth was a massive issue for them last season. I guess i'm wondering who from last years top 5 they will replace, especially given ruhterglen, wahgunyah, barny and mitta who missed finals last year all look to have improved and top 5 should be strong again also. I think this year could be one of the most even for along time with every club apart from the saints and maybe dederang who have been pretty quiet pushing for finals spots, can't even see there being a dominant one or two at the top...thoughts...???

[You took the time read it and obviously subsequent writings!!!!!! . One couldn't lift itself the bottom with a JACK , and the other is big call. Top 5.
Don't have to have a long neck .]

I am hearing that the chiltern boys are talking themselves up, top five, top 2. Thats a bit of pressure going into the season after their efforts last year. I believe that the comp this year will be very even, apart from the saints. As usual a lot of talk is about Mitta, Yack, Tallangatta, Kiewa etccc. But whaty about sides like Ruth. and Wahg. What are they up to. How will they go.

.
Who is the sniper. And who is the backman and ruckman the lions are about to sign. Are the Lions are realistic chance of making the finals this year with these new players and new coach. Not much has been said about them, but about all the usual suspects.........Could they sneak under everyones guard.

Is the ruckman from a neighbouring Hume League club?

Is it right that Simon Mayhew is training at Chiltern.Would be a very good pick up even if he has,t played for a couple of years. There should be no pressure on the Swans after a year like last year. It would be all up from there.Should be in the mix come Sept.
