WEST BRUNSWICK AMATEUR FOOTBALL CLUB

Seeks expressions of interest for the positions of Senior and Reserves coaches, for the 2011 season.

WBAFC was established in 1959 and has a long history of success with 5 Senior and 2 Reserve premierships, most recently in 2008. The club is situated just north of the city in Parkville, has excellent facilities and draws its recruits from local areas, players’ networks and the nearby Melbourne University colleges. It has a strong culture with many players originating from regional areas and is often described as “a country club in the city”.

Affiliated with the VAFA and currently playing in Division 3, the playing base contains a good blend of senior experience mixed with talented younger players that would give prospective coaches plenty of opportunity for success in the coming years.

Playing and non playing coaches are encouraged to apply for both Seniors and Reserves.

For more information on the club visit our website www.wbafc.com.au, or enquire via email or send a written application to westbrunswick@gmail.com

LEITCHVILLE GUNBOWER FNC affiliated HDFL

Require a senior coach for the 2011 season.

Sick of the muddy Melbourne winter? Fancy a tree change ? then consider applying for this position in Sunny Northern Victoria.

We are situated 30 minutes North of the thriving rural city of Echuca and last year saw us finish seventh in our inaugural season in the Heathcote District Football League . We have two magnificent all weather ovals, excellent facilities and a young playing list who have committed to the 2011 season. It's been 15 years since our last premiership and the committee and supporters are determined to "break the drought".

Located close to the Murray River and beautiful Gunbower creek both towns have cheap and plentiful housing options, numerous schools and other sporting facilities while employment in the ever growing Echuca area is also available. The local Dairy industry is booming again after some tough years and we at Bomberland are on the way up. The club has a large stable membership and as financially secure as any club in Northern Victoria.

Renumeration will be attractive and in line with credentials ...this is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced coach wanting to escape the Rat Race or a younger coach eager to make a mark.

Don't delay, applications close Sept 25... send me a message privately and we can discuss further or call Steve on 0407501932

Moving to London and keen to play some Aussie Rules?

Then the Putney Magpies Aussie Rules Football Club is the place to be in 2011.

We are now currently on the search for new footy (of all nationalities British, EU’s, Kiwi's, Saffa's and Aussies) to get on board with the club this season.

Considered the most well liked clubs in South-West London, the Putney Magpies Aussie Rules Club has three teams competing in the AFL London competition with a team to suit all levels.

At our club we understand that people dont come to UK to just play footy or netball and a lot of people cant get to training due to other obligations so we dont inforce a high level of commitment. While being competitive on the field/court, our club is fairly laid back, well suited to sport in London and very social. Its great way to keep fit, have a bit of a laugh with your mates, meet some new people and grab a beer afterwards. Which is what sport is all about

Training for the footy boys is every Tuesday/Thursday in South Park, Parsons Green (10mins walk from the tube) at 6.30pm from April until August (depending on finals) and games are played every Saturday.

* Pre-season pub crawl from Fulham Broadway to The Wahoo Sports bar in Putney
* Karoke Night
* Teams entered in the Anzac Day Challenge
* Ascot Race Day
* Ladies Days (Football club provides drinks for girls at all home games)
* Blackbirds and Magpies Big Day Out @ The Church
* Putney Blackbirds & Magpies Beach Party
* £500 Reverse Raffle
* End of season trip
* Presentation Night
* AFL Grand Final @ The Wahoo Sports Bar in Putney (Tickets only £5)
