2011 Season

Dederang look to have been busy according to Border Mail this morning, this might put them amoungst it for 2011. Some big forwards to add to the couple they already have as long as they can get the ball down there they are looking like having a number of very big targets. Manning also a gutsy onballer.
Its good to see that they have recruited a couple, Bradshaw will be good for them and Mansell is a handy type, but to be thinking they will make finals because of them 4 is talking themselves up quiet a lot, they were the length of the flemington straight behind the top 6 last year, all the best to them but for me dederang ae no where near finals. who else has recruited well, mitta seem to be cruising along ok, Rutherglen are real quiet down the freeway would not be surprised if there up and about next year.
Any thoughts.

Hey Jimmy not sure what league you follow but they beat Rutherglen twice, and pushed both Yack and Beechworth to under 20 points in the second half of the season
With Yack, Tallangatta, Beechworth,Barny, all losing more than they have picked up Dederang are a good chance to make the five, if you watch the competiton closely enough you will know it only takes a few good players to turn things around

Bradshaw good player but wont lead, put a strong player on him and you have him covered. Mansell good on his day but they are very far between, DJ Jones never picks up a player so you can exploite him and he disruptive to team with his verbal stouches when things dont go his way, like a little kid who does not get his lolly. Ranga's will improve but not quite top 5 for me. Thurgoona odds on to win it already...

sounds like a disgruntled tallangatta supporter, i agee with your thoughts on Thurgoona though and think Kiewa, maybe Beechworth could finish top 3 the remaining spots certainly are open, Rangas,Rutherglen are a couple who could to fill them , although it is very early days yet

Jones has never been a good player. Was OK at mini junior level at Mitta but has never been any good since. Strange character too. Absolutely no personality whatsoever.

Not much has been said about Rutherglen, Chiltern or for that matter, Wahgunyah. Where are they at. Are they going to progress this year.

Hey everyone. im moving to wodonga in late april early may for work. just wondering what days u normally train in your league and whether u play sat or sundays. i played in black diamond league in newcastle and would love to have a run down there if it fits into my schedule.

Blaize Naughton and Andrew Ollington are two that spring to mind. Not world beaters but both very capable, athletic types who will certainly play some good footy at that level

no not disgruntled at all DanielJohns, just telling everyone how it is. Bit of truth on here instead of bullshit is way to go. Tallangatta will struggle big time, no doubt about it. Wagunyah will go well with the forward firepower.

I heard wahgunyah have recruited a few guys on top of the big forward that are not stars but strengthen up their list. Is this the case. The lions are coming from way back, but do you really think they could finish deep in september. I heard a rumour that a hard nut classy midfielder is training at the moment.........

A little update on the rangas. Training has been solid and plenty of expectation and excitment with our recruits on board. Chops Twycross is doing a great job and is confident of adding another key backmen from Raiders soon. Beau Packers arse is still massive and is can been seen strutting around Emerald Avenue every monday night so get down and have a look. Go Ranga's 2011!

Who are the recruits so far RR ?

Heard that scooter seymour from rutherglen is gone to corowa rutherglen. Any truth in the rumour. If thats the case, two good on ballers gone.

AP you would have to have been hiding under a rock not to have learned about Joel Mansell, Damien Jones, Matt Bradshaw all crossing from Tallangatta to DMB. Goal scoring was a major issue for us last year and we expect Mansell and Bradshaw to have a major impact on that in 2011. Things are looking promising and my tip is look we will have a very dangerous outfit this season.

Also noticed Guropic and Telford in todays paper training with Wodonga, also young McKimmie going to federal. Hoppers might challenge Saints for the spoon.

You're well named rotten -
One might think you've lost your spot to the player you've targeted? Good of you to broadcast where they're training too - other coaches and recruiters will love that!
Bombers - you've got some problems if your players are bagging out their own and the season hasn't even begun!
