Not getting involved in this whole stalking thing, but you would have still lost by around 100 points had Murphy got 89 x2.

That's not really a 'close' loss.

How do you figure? I lost by 137 (which includes Murphy's 54 as captain) granted I got my maths wrong and 89 was not the magic number FTW, but take away Murphy's score altogether and I lose by 191.

So if Murphy had not got injured and scored 96 points (x 2 = 192) I would have won by 1 point. It would be reasonable to expect 96 points as a minimum from a guy averaging 110 at the time and with scores of 126 & 144 against Adelaide in his last 2 games against them + playing at home. Nothing you can do about LTI's early on in games, no matter who you're playing. If it's your Captain you're screwed. It's only a shit Captains choice with the benefit of hindsight.

I'm not the one making numerous posts about my teams in every thread, was asked a direct question and I responded.

But winning this comp is actually worth bragging about, may be bias but definitely a bigger achievement than managing to get the team under the name of your best mates' mother's defacto's dog into the top 400.

Going by your standards, is this report worthy?

Actually thought it was quite a good achievement to win eliminator, had to avoid those great temptations such as wanting to trade Ablett out for perma captain Ziebell. Beats being ranked 30k in any case.

So what if I did brag, it's an actual DT achievement on a DT forum. What's the best thing you've done in DT James? Was that trading in Barlow? Or running and crying to the mods each time anyone asks you about it?

What was the prize for the elim back then? One year it was $5,000 IIRC.

First year it was 10k but in 2010 only 1k. Did manage to use it on the Brownlow that year to get total winnings up a bit so no complaints.

DT is for fun anyway and any prize is a bonus.

I've only been playing DT for 2 years (before this year) done quite well both times. Thanks for asking.

This year...not so good, but there is still plenty of time to get my team right and maybe win a weekly prize along the way if I'm lucky enough.

DT is a fun hobby for a lot of us. I particularly enjoy it (way more than SC) You seem to be going out of your way towards taking away peoples enjoyment of it by deliberately being an arseh*le all of the time. Good on you, you won Eliminator and obviously having a good season again, but your schadenfreude style posting is only only enjoyed by you.

Numerous teams back in 2010? because i hedged my bets. That was the year i finally learnt everything i needed about dream team to finish top 500. The next 2 years i have only had one team, it seems hard for you to understand that?
