And despite all the carnage my pathetic team knocks over the team ranked 728 overall.

I told youse alls that Shane Tuck was my secret weapon, that master trade alone has won me this round.

Shout out to Shannon Hurn too, props homie. And my lil man Zorko, i knew starting you on the field ahead of Treloar was a master stroke.

**** im good. :thumbsu::thumbsu:

Going to lose because going into the game his team looked a bit better then mine and Gaz was his obv captaincy choice (him or Pendles). As such I decided to go Sidey as captain.

I ran pretty hot with my uniques (Adcock, Coniglio mainly) while a few of his did LOLbad (Hargrave, Rockliff, Bugg) leaving me with a decent lead going into this game.

Now Gaz is going all ROFLstomp on Collingwood and I am going to go down by about 20 points because Sidey isnt anywhere near it

Its Beams and Ablett vs Sidey in the last quarter effectively. Had I had Gaz straight out as captain I have this easily covered.

Rage...

Order! Order!

Welcome to the go **** urself in a hole awards with your MC, Jcpdragonx

#1: Nafan Figjam. Congratulations on winning this award, subbing pendles has ruined my health and I am now sleep deprived.

#2: Hargrave: Ball. Mark. Kick inside the the white line thingy. Your an idiot, Morris has outscored you since I traded you out.

#3: Waters: look a me im tuff i knock him out good. oof im out for 2 weeks soz lol.

#4: Collingwood: CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW ABLETT GETS ALMOST 200 POINTS AGAINST A TEAM WHICH IS BEATING THEM BY 100 POINTS. AND OF ALL WEEKS TO DO IT, YOU DO IT WITH GAJ AS CAPTAIN AND WHEN I HAVE AN INJURED CAPTAIN.

lost elim by about 40 points. what a joke considering I was up by 160 with Pendles and Gary even.

I'm gone, opponent got 2301 to my 2152 :(

Not even picking Gazza as captain would have helped win this one. Such is life.

Here's the situation. I really don't believe this.

Beginning of last quarter.

I have:

Beams, Sidebottom (C), Ablett vs 100 pts + Marty Clarke

I end up winning 2063 to 2057. I celebrate that close win and come back to my computer 10 mins later. Looks like they've taken a kick off Beams(-3) and a tackle of Gazza(-4) and +2 pts for Clarke.... so now I lose by 1 pt 2056 to 2057.:mad::mad:

This is after I lost late last season in eliminator to a Andrew Krakeour goal after the siren.

Eliminator is cruel.

****. Up against a team (Ayla's Schmaylas)

who ranked 4391 in Elimin. after I scrapped through a win ranked 13682.

1494/15 vs 1422/14

Unique are
Me: Boyd, M.Clarke, T.Cloke + 72 points
VS
Him/Her: Rockliff, Hurn, T.Dickson, Lake.

So its pretty much Boyd vs Rocky, Clarke vs Hurn, Cloke vs Dickson and Lake vs 72 points.

Not looking too flash for me :(

Ended up winning 2251-2162

Both had Sides captain, could of easily added 160 points to my score with Ablett captain >>

My only ray of sunshine this week after losing all my league games..

2110-2041.

Bad Cpt choices for us both london_tiger, but I snuck through somehow.. never expected it. Unlucky mate.

Up against Cooley's Croc's this week.

Me v Him

Eliminator ranking
805 v 15,921

Uniques
Goddard v Johnson
Birchall v Heppell (Wilkes/Delaney)
Hargrave v Bugg
Clarke v Morris

Watson v Stanton
Pendlebury v Ziebell
Mitchell v Higgins
Horsley v Coniglio

Kreuzer v Sandilands

Beams v Dangerfield
Robinson v NRoo
Chapman v Smith
Cornes v Adams

This week was important as i have no zero's first week of the byes, will be incredibly surprised if i lose this one.

Well i am surprised alright. Lost by 63 points

All started to go pear shaped when Kreuzer was a late withdrawal but that was ok, i still had it in the bag.

Then come the last 2 games on Sunday. It was Hannebery + 450 odd points against Hargrave, Beams (c), Horsley, Clarke and Pendlebury.

Hannebery smashes out 120 (wtf..) while Hargrave stinks it up but i still had it in the bag. Then Pendlebury and Horsely get subbed out leaving me screwed. What a joke.

No offense, but why is Hannebery scoring big such a surprise? He's not a consistent scorer like Swan or Boyd, but particularly at the SCG Sydney mids like Hanners, Bolton, Jack and Parker can all rack up big points. Like I said, not all the time, but it has happened before and will happen again.

The reason I liked this round of DT was that it showed underrated players like Bolton and Sloane scoring massively, while obvious picks like Sidebottom and Thompson did poorly. This sort of thing keeps it interesting and rewards unique picks.

You're always asking for trouble doing those kind of My Gun vs. His Dud pre-game comparisons anyway.

Not having a go, honestly.

i came from nowhere to win by 40 odd points he was smashing me coming into the last game but Ablett (C) against his with sidbum (C) and pendles got me the win, i also did it with Swan and Heppell on the pine.

Don't like my chances next week as round 11 is the 1 week i have planned to concede multi 0s

Got through, Lucky we both had Captain Sidebum

This next week is most likely my last though These are outs or big ??????

Hargrave Lake Smedts* Waters
Rockliff Boyd Zorko ClaySmith
Giles McEvoy*
Dangerfield Paine* Hall* Treloar

Poor planning really but we all either burn trades or cop 0's

Was more the fact that he traded him in this week. He may be able to score big but it's an odd choice considering how many quality mids there is going around. I believe he sideways traded Higgins.

I never called anyone in his team a dud. I did what most do in this thread and post up the match ups (why else would this thread exist?). After looking at the match ups my opinion was that i would get through rather comfortably which i would have if it wasn't for a late withdrawal giving me a zero (for the record every single player in my team, bench included, played this round apart from Kreuzer) and 2 players getting subbed off early.

Can't f'n believe it - was ranked in the 400's in eliminator against opponent 10'000's - should have won by over 250pts on projection

Lost by 4 f'n points - FMDT

Thanks Sidey, Pendles, Kreuzer (Ratten),
