2012 Eliminator Thread

Ahh. Somehow im looking like losing my eliminator to a team ranked 76000 including about 10 mid pricers when im ranked inside the top 1000

Murphy injured. And of course priddis is a late withdrawal so he gets Horsley's 108 score as emergency

Me: 61, 1/2 Porps, Hayes, Goddard and Cox
Them: 1/2 Callinan, 1/2 Scotland, Milera,Geary, Naitanui, Hill

Edit: You won this, didn't you? Geary, Hill and Milera had very average games, while Cox gunned it.

[rant] I hate Eliminator. I get outed in the third round EVERY year. I'll score about 2200 this week but I'm getting rolled by someone playing Golby and Pfeiffer while I have Robinson, Greene and Ellis spudding it up. It's the first time I've had to play Ellis on the field, too. **** you, Eliminator.

The only positive is that I didn't do any trades specifically for Eliminator. I'll be satisfied at the end of the year when I'm 5-10,000 spots ahead of the Eliminator opponent who knocked me out. [/rant]

Turned out a remarkably lucky weekend for me. While I don't think my opponent could get 2200, I expected 2000. Had 3 rookies on field, they all let him down and so did his uniques

Yeah I did end up winning that. My post was more of a vent and pessimism on my part with Murphy just being subbed, and hearing that waters might have done a hamstring, and then that priddis was a late withdrawal so he gets Horsley score of 108 on the bench. Complete frustration

Next week will be very interesting. Quite a few good teams will be in the bottom half. I might be in the bottom half myself but I hope my score is enough to get into the top half as i dont want to face off against someone in top 1000 yet =)
