Good luck to the Year 12 students on here (and Year 11's doing Year 12 classes) with the upcoming VCE Exams!

Have the English one this coming Thursday, and i'm shitting one. Have gotten A's every year in English since Year 7, and i'm worried it could all become unravelled at the wrong time of the year. Have Literature and Legal Studies on the 9th of November, Business Management on the 15th and Geography a day later. Stressful time!

The taste of (several) worthy beers is keeping me determined to working right through to the end of exams.

Cheers mate, same to you and everyone else. Here we have the HSC but it's more or less the same I guess.

Already half way through mine with English and ancient history already complete and 3 in the next 2 weeks. English I didn't do well in honestly, but then again i wasn't taking it seriously... Ancient on the other hand im confident because everything I was studying for was in there. Legal studies coming up Friday with Religion and society/culture the following Monday/Tuesday respectively then i'm done.

Planned a weekend GABBA trip to see Aussies v South Africa in the cricket test the weekend after i finish with a few mates so thats keeping me determined to see through it.

I've got five in a row from next Monday to Friday. Chemistry on the 5th, then History, English, Economics and Maths. My last one is Literature on the 15th. Hopefully I do well. Good luck to everyone else!

3 exams on this year as a year 11 (Further Maths on tomorrow and on Monday and then Economics on the 13th). Don't feel too bad... yet.

Done English yesterday. I don't know really, all of my SAC scores were A's and if my practise exam I did was anything to go by I'd get an A+. We'll see what happens. Wrote like 17 pages altogether hahaha.

Had Further today, feeling pissed off because I went absolutely shit in it. May only get 25-28/40. Got the second Further exam on Monday and then a 4 day break to study for Legal :D

Don't worry about it to much, I thought exam 2 counted for more anyway.

Woww not bad. Do you know how much bearing the SAC results have on your study score? I'm 86/100 for this year, probably mid to upper range in my year level, add that to my 39/40... is there a decent chance I could crack the 40?
The SAC's don't count for heaps but i think still around 30%.
you should be a chance to get over 40 but my SAC marks scaled up a lot because of my school is your school normally good?

My school isn't that great, I'd probably be in the top 10% out of about 60/70 students.
You better do well in exam 2 then in case your SAC marks go down rather then up. If they do go up then getting an extra 1 or 2 marks would still be very helpful as when you are at the higher grades your scores go up easier. (I think they use a normally distributed bell curve don't they?)

I think so mate.

I did terrible, got 44/60 I'm pretty sure :(. Usually 45-50 is an A but I might be able to scrape an A with 44 given how ridiculously hard it was this year!
Don't feel bad mate. I got 35/60, and I made a lot of stupid mistakes. One question in the core section asked to apply a squared transformation, I done that but ignored the part of a question which said to "round up to the nearest whole number". Great, wasted a mark there haha. Disappointed with my Further exams as I went better during the SACS but oh well, I wasn't the only one at my school to struggle through it lol

had my final one today, society and culture. Think I did really well with this one, feeling pretty confident. Helped with my study buddy being a high achiever I suppose. She gave me so many idea's that I never would have thought of myself haha. I had run out of idea's in the 20 mark essay after 2 pages but then remembered a few idea's she had given me over the past few days. They boosted the length to 2&1/2 pages. Should be an extra 3-4 marks there.

Good luck with the rest of your exams everyone. It'll be fine.

I'm hoping for a 27/30 for english and got 37/40 and 59/60 for further, very pleased with those results. Physics, chem and busman to go, so screwed for chem i literally can't do a single question and got an E+ for mid years :p
