Not really despite his receivers, it's just Eli's made Cruz a household name and Ballard a pretty solid TE, yet the way people talk about them, you would think they were 2nd-3rd round picks.

Im not sure that its really that big a distinguishing point. Miles Austin for example came from nowhere. I dont think where a player was drafted really matters when they show something at league level.

Aldon Smith, though a rookie thought he could of deserved a back-up selection in the NFC, thought he had a great year... no doubting he'll be a pro-bowler in 2013

Given people were talking up Stafford as a 'robbed' selection only after the polls closed, can I now point to Eli's play in the post season as to why he was just as deserving?
