Swoopa, dont take something the wrong way because I answer with a few words only. I actually enjoy the banter and get a laugh from some of the saints "bashing" by a couple of fools. I personally dont have a problem with anyone on here and can even answer the latest dickhead quote relating to the magpies as there was nothing sinister and tongues dont need to wag. I personally asked the magpies coach to come down and assess our playing group in a game against Bond University, with a view to helping us as club to see where our young list was at.He graciously accepted and helped for the better development of football. Comments from SKOB and SYLB are not even worth listening to or responding to at all.As for training today perhaps SKOB has a secret sexual fascination with Carrara because at times he really sounds like a jilted lover. Comments about netball skirts actually make we wonder if these two are actually females themselves.

Dont know what you are on about mate but once again you are wrong! Jade powe was with me all day having a gay sex session and junior powe was filming so sort your shit out you nuff nuff. As for the rest of the bad mouths mouthing off about carrara dont let me find out who you are! Youve made budgey buff angry and you didnt want to do that

Should be an exciting year played over 100 senior games at robina few in house reasons why I left. Absolutely love my time at beenleigh such great people there all round. How people have so much hate for them il never know I'd advise anyone to go there. Reason for leaving buffs I've been givin a good opportunity at the saints and the chance too help at the young kids with my experience. And living next door too the ground is a bonus. There are alot of kids at Carrara but I do think there will be a bit of quality come before season starts. As for my brother who knows what he will do don't think he knows himself. How's muzza goin at coomera swoopa ?

Think the reason the buffs have so much hate is because you were there mate, look what's happened to Carrara and you haven't even started training.... Buffs will be the most popular club in the league this year.

Geez I have a few months off here and it explodes with rumours. Hearing budgie might already left the saints to head north for work! Kp is definitely a saint but I know the Roos are still hopeful of retaining the older of the powe brothers especially after the signing of a new senior coach. Morro words about kp I'm sure would b echoed by the Roos if jade did leave. Really good bloke but new challenges with great mates are hard to say no to. Hoping to see you at training tonight though j Powe.
 
The off season merry go round continues and things not so happy at saintland despite what they portray publicly or on here. Saint coach from this year being linked to the vacant seat at Bond and taking a few players with him, and also looking at a role at Cooly. 3 saints ready to jump ship to the roos. 6 saints to go to Bond if coach from this year goes. 3 more roos to jump ship to saints and 3 others to go to magpies. 1 to jump from Cooly to saints and 4 saints going back to cats.

blah blah blah losing count of all these numbers. At last count i think 4,321 players and officials were coming and going between Us, Coomera, Beenleigh and Robina!!! Impressive numbers me thinks. Heading off now to join morro in getting some panadol.
 
Wow seems like this will never end. Good to see so much interest in this lil ol' league of ours.

Like I've said a few times I think there'll be numerous changes before seasons start.

hopefully i can put the final word on carrara. carrara has been a junior club since 1997. 2 years ago decided they needed a pathway for their juniors, so that they could keep players at our club after under 16's. They started last year in div 4, and that was only put together last minute, they were lucky there was a spot still vacant. This year because of the player numbers they applied for div 3 as a reserves side could be added. As much as this forum is or should be a bit tongue in cheek, it seems like a few of you are getting a bit carried away. Carrara footy club are just a growing club trying to keep their juniors a saint for as long as possible. they certainly dont have any money to pay players from other clubs. They, like all clubs will welcome new players from any club, as they are just trying to build into a competitive team that people like playing for. Why the hatred of a new club in the comp. they havent been around long enough to warrant such strong views. I personally have been involved in junior footy for ten years, and i have to admit they are more mature than most seniors i have dealt with. Merry xmas to all and bring on season 2013 as i think footy in qld is very much alive and well.

I agree. Well said and I think that the Saints will just let their results do the talking (wins or not).

Now I believe it's time for my regular Christmas time "bulk up". Unfortunately it seems to sit around the midriff rather than anywhere else!
 
Div 1 was staring on the 21st April or something like that - very late start and only 16 rounds. Some very unhappy clubs - not sure if it will be similar for Div 3 but 16 rounds seems 2 too few imo.

i've heard it's not this structure but would have loved a northern and southern "conference" of 6 teams each - play your conference twice and the other conference once for 16 rounds
