It is nearing that time of year again, and I thought I would get the ball rolling nice and early! As per: http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?t=806132 register your interest to take part in a 2012 SuperCoach Cash League! Unfortunately, there can only be one Impromptu each year, but why should all your time and hard work go without a monetary reward!

I think with interest in the game reaching heights never seen before, we will cater for $20, $50, $100 and $250 leagues. There will also be identically run DreamTeam Cash Leagues located here: www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?p=23225899

The leagues will be modelled similar to those run last year, with a strong weighting placed on overall ranking. At this stage, it will likely resemble:

$20 Cash League
1st Prize based on overall ranking: $200
2nd Prize based on overall ranking: $100
3rd Prize based on league grand final winner: $50

$50 Cash League
1st Prize based on overall ranking: $500
2nd Prize based on overall ranking: $250
3rd Prize based on league grand final winner: $100

$100 Cash League
1st Prize based on overall ranking: $1000
2nd Prize based on overall ranking: $500
3rd Prize based on league grand final winner: $200

$250 Cash League
1st Prize based on overall ranking: $2500 (60%)
2nd Prize based on overall ranking: $1250 (30%)
3rd Prize based on league grand final winner: $500 (10%)

The method of payment will be PayPal. PayPal charge fees to “deposit” and “withdraw”. There will be a 6% admin fee deducted from each prize pool to cover these and other admin costs. That is reflected in the prize pools above. If you don’t have PayPal and need to use an alternate method, please PM me to discuss.

Posts in this thread will be considered tentative; your position is locked in once payment is received. This thread will be checked periodically, so once your expression of interest has been noted, you will be PMed the payment details, and subsequently a league code after payment is received. You are welcome to join multiple leagues across all prices, and multiple leagues at the same price. I will regularly update the details below to reflect the interest / payment received.

Last year, we had a situation whereby one league had a stronger field than the other. This year, players will be drawn into leagues randomly or seeded, to remove the disadvantage of registering early and being stuck in a stronger league. I have the 2011 cash league data, which would formulate the basis for seeding those who took part last year.
