2012 WAFL Footy Tipping

OK, only a couple of weeks until the season proper so I better start getting organised for the tipping.

As with last year, I'll just put up each round's fixtures and you can then submit your tips. I'll try and organise another BFSC membership for the winner so if you're willing to try and climb to the top of the heap, feel free to put your name down so I make sure I PM you a reminder. Otherwise, just join in.

You can tip on the WAFL through footytips.com.au this year and the prize for the winner is 2 tickets to the WAFL GF including a supporters function and 2 WAFL guernseys. This was posted by WAFL HQ on Waflonline on the 27th Jan.

"People will be able to join up for WAFL tipping through footytips.com.au which will the official wafl footy tipping comp for 2012. You can also download the WAFL iPhone app which that provides up to date scores and allows you to enter your tips.

We will put the appropriate links up on the site soon, if you wish to join now simply visit footytips.com.au

The prize for the winner will be two tickets to the WAFL Grand Final supporters function and two WAFL Guernseys for the club of your choice.

The WAFL Grand Final supporters function is held in one of the private function rooms at Patersons Stadium overlooking the playing arena. Cocktail food and drinks provided with guest speaker on the day."

Teams with a bye: Peel ,East Fremantle , South Fremantle , East Perth and Swans..

Now wait for it......... East Fremantle get a buy as well in Round 2.

Sometimes you just scratch your head and wonder what the thinking is at WAFL House.

Given that there is only one game scheduled for Saturday I assume thats the margin game.

Thanks Monocle and fellow posters, I completely missed the start of the season! Wow, I know it's been a rather ordinary 6 months, but missing the season start.

I only found out because I was enjoying the game at Basso and went up to the bar to see a game on TV. Apologies to everyone.

I'll go Claremont in tomorrow's game.
