Feels like I'm watching a BlackHawks feed and that we're on a continuous Penalty Kill. NBCSN will be the death of me.

Just got back from caps v hurricanes game, on holiday in usa! Not a hockey expert but caps couldnt trap or hold the puck at key points in the match. Canes were clinical too whereas the caps were not. Interesting to hear a lot of booing and sarcastic cheering from the crowd which actually deflated the team imo. Poor form really. Still an exhilirating experience. Hope I can see another while im here

Back for the winter classic?

Let's take a minute in time to heil the re-signing of the greatest Ranger of the modern era.

Datsyuk said he's not experiencing any concussion symptoms anymore so he should be back in time.

Zetterberg out with herniated disc in his back, out a couple of weeks so who knows. Sure hope he is back for it!

A lot of old-school hockey people will hate that, but I friggen love the celebration.

Unless that is a penalty shot in regular time rather than a penalty shot it is a flog-worthy celebration.

BOOM!!! Habs top of the Adams Division with a win over the Beantown Hypocrites!

That's nine straight starts where Carey Price allowed two or fewer goals. He has a .951 Sv% and 7-1-1 record over that span facing 31.9 shots per game.

Assistant Coach Claude Julien got a good look last night.

The referee in the Detroit vs Devils game seems to have gone to the Matthew Nichols school of "Take a Guess Officiating".

One of the worst calls I've seen for a long time calling a penalty, with a minute to go in the third, on Schneider for playing the puck out of the trapezoid, the puck was about two feet inside the trapezoid when Schneider played the puck. The referee was behind Schneider at the time and clearly couldn't see the puck. Devils 2-1 down at the time, Red Wings score on the power play right off the next face off. 3-1 game over.
