EDIT: Forget the Winter Classic is a day game, and is on at 4:30am Thursday on Fox Sports 2.

EDIT: Forget the Winter Classic is a day game, and is on at 4:30am Thursday on Fox Sports 2.
Could be a real stinker of a game, both teams playing terrible hockey (the Leafs have 2 regulation wins in their past 20 games) and 7.4 inches of snow predicted for Ann Arbor in the next 48 hours.

Yes that's true! Will be interesting to see how many outdoor games they go with next season.
I'd imagine the Penguins v Blackhawks game at Soldier Field will be the best game this season.
Might actually have to give Paul Holmgren some credit with the acquisition of Steve Mason, whether or not it was out of desperation or he thought the Flyers had something to work with is something only the Flyers know.
Mason has been excellent this season, good movement and playing his angles extremely well, just needs to work a bit on rebound control. Kept the Flyers in tonight's game vs the Canucks and ended up stealing two points.

I think it'd be best for the Leafs to just not trade with the Habs. Just. In. Case.Could head down the river. Maybe something similar to Russ Courtnall for John Kordic?
These games are waaaay too hyped for my liking. Ideally, you need around -5, some sun (but not too much or no-one can see), and definitely no snow. Or maybe a bit of snow in the last five minutes for the romantic, backyard hockey feeling. But that won't happen. Agreed. Mason has been their MVP by a long way. Glad to see him turn it around after the last few years in Cbus. It's just a pity it has to be with the Philth.
