JT Miller's disallowed goal looked a lot like the one Montreal scored.

and it looked a lot like Zibanejad's "good" goal against Montreal in last season's playoffs. Consistency isn't Toronto's strong suit.
Montreal got shafted last week for an Eller "bad" goal which looked good (the ref pointed to the puck in the net, then got talked out of it by the buffoons in Toronto) so maybe 1-1 there...

Matters little as the Rangers could still be playing now and they wouldn't have got a puck by Budaj yet.

what is the dealio with the new divisional alignment. is it the top 4 of each division go into the playoffs, or is it the two division winner and then the six highest points getting teams from the whole conference? i hope its the 2nd, so far the atlantic teams have been so much better than the metro teams it'd seem stupid to have 4 teams from each go through.

Top three from each division, then two 'wild card' teams take the last two spots. Wildcard spot 1 plays against the 'lower' #1 seed, spot 2 plays against the 'higher' #1 seed.

For example, using the East's current standings.

Atlantic:
Toronto (H1) v Detroit (WC2)
Tampa Bay (2) v Montreal (3)

Metro:
Pittsburgh (L1) v Boston (WC1)
Carolina (2) v NY Islanders (3)

Winners of each round stay within their pools until the conference final.

Kessel with points on each of Toronto's four goals.
Now tied second in the league.
Definitely living up to that contract of his so far!

eff you, Calgary refs! Three minutes left, Calgary down by one and two missed tripping calls against Calgary, then they suddenly see the boarding against the Leafs.
I'M BLIND! I'M DEAF! I WANNA BE A REF!

Edit: RANGER FINALLY DOES SOMETHING FOR US!

Edit 2: Holy f! First in the league in short-handed goals!

With regards to goaltenders not leaving the crease I do agree in the case of MA Fleury. He's awful with the puck. Leave that puck alone, stay in your crease!

Every time MAF goes behind the net, I have kittens. He is just sooooooo bad. Vokoun does it and everything is peachy. But MAF....

And I think the 'Lanche are going to need to find another goalie if these charges against Varlamov stick. Kidnapping? WTF?

Her attorney claims he was extremely drunk and threw her against the wall and beat her up for the whatevereth time and it was the last straw. Meanwhile, his friends and family are saying he doesn't drink and they have never heard of there being fights between them.

Sounds like a simple case of he said/she said that will undoubtedly take a year to come to no conclusion at all as he gives her an amount of money to go away.

Read some of the allegations made by the girlfriend against Varlamov.

He's either a complete maniac who should be locked up for a lengthy sentence or she's a fantastic "story teller". It's one or the other...
