I'm assuming since you have gone to the effort of putting teams in brackets for some players that this is a serious team? Might I suggest you use the auto fill instead?

Happy with my team now, so naturally there will be another 50 changes ;)

Backs- God, Gibbs, Heppell, Hartlett, Pittard, Goodes (stevenson, terlich)
Mids- Swan(C), GAJ, Marc, Pendles, Embley, Whitfield, Wines, O'meara (viney, Kommer)
Ruc- Jacobs, Leu (Rowe, Currie)
FWD- Buddy, Cox, Bartel, Rockliff, Karnezis, Macaffer (Lee, Neade)

Not thrilled with the new DT changes, would of liked them to stick with the old rules (or even go back to the rules of around 2007 or 2006 not sure what year it changed)

not sure if i want waters or birchall ? who and why
Waters had a really good injury run last year considering his standards over his career, I don't think he can do that again. Plus he has the urge hip n shoulder someone's head in at some point, or he may concuss himself and receive a vest. Birch is less of a risk imo. Neither are bad picks but I would say Birch.

At the moment got Zorko, Karnezis and rockliff, all in the fwdline, is that going over board for brisbane fwds?

I don't think so, Brisbane have a pretty good run to start and with 44 trades you should be fine. You could always change Rockliff (or Zorko) to Robinson if you want a more even spread with the teams, maybe just worry about that closer to the byes

What does everyone think about having only $100 cash left over? I'm pretty happy with my team at the moment but considering we won't know the second half of the split rounds team lineups I could be screwing myself over.

I think this year's two things are important right now.
1. save some cash, 30k at least in the bank for trades in round 2
2. If you have a 50/50 selection this week between a player playing their round 1 fixture this week and a player playing next week, choose the one playing next week. That way if, for whatever reason you want to adjust your structure, you have the flexibility to do it.
I really don't have much of a preference between McEvoy and Jacobs but I'll start McEvoy because if for instance, Leuenberger is a surprise inclusion for round 1 I will definitely want to be able to edit my team to fit him in. Also why I picked Grimes over Waters.
$100 gives you no room to move if something unforeseen happens.

I chose Birchall because with Suckling going down and Lake being dodgy since NAB Cup round 1, someone has to mark the ball in the chip around in the Hawks backline with Waters having a restricted pre season and only a couple games under his belt I went with Birch
