That's the problem, very very few

You might have to drop one of your defenders (plenty of back rookies this year) not many forwards though.

no.. swan averaged 130 last year. there is no guarantee he will do it again this year, even if he is training well. also he didn't get going till RD 4 last year. with 3 scores of 100 in the first 3 RD's. Any premium can do that. If he does this again this year his price will go down to around $580,000 - $600,000. which then it will be the perfect time to get him in.. upgrading to him wont be that hard with 2 trades a week. but on the other hand. he could go bang straight away and keep his price..... god damn am I over thinking it. my structure looks better with out him

He's not going to drop 80-100k in one price-drop if he's scoring 100s, surely.

If you have Ablett and Swan and they are going to drop in price, you can trade them both to the next best Premo mids who are going up in price. Some very handy cash to be made. As long as you get alll your rookies correct that is and get no LTI's!

No Swan In my midfield now and it looks like: Ablett, Boyd, Pendles, Danger, Kennedy or Murphy, Whitfiled, Wines, O'meara (Crouch, Viney)

OR

Swan, Ablett, Pendles, Danger, Whitfield, Toumpass, Wines, O'Meara (Crouch, Viney)

OR without Ablett aswell:

Boyd, Beams, Pendles, Danger, Cotchin, Whitfield, Wines, O'Meara (Crouch, Viney) Have a bit of extra cash!

Could it work without Swan and Ablett?

You could also drop Leuenberger to a rookie ruck and pocket another 100K here. That would give you over 300 K to upgrade with....

Goodes is wasted in the midfield
Goodes into any cheap rookie in the mid
Then swap Dochs for Goodes

Then you have a few options

Moloney to a premium
Lecras to a premium
Leuy to premium


Or Lecras to a 430ish player and Daniher to a 240 forward like Byrnes/Kennedy etc.
LeCras not that cheap for his output, wont score big and won't improve cash by too much Daniher unlikely to get games Hird said he could play Round 1 but only if Hurley doesnt play

Cotch/Lids to Swanny and LeCras to a 430type.
Because swanny is swanny

I think that's a well balanced team. Back line might be a bit weak. Would it be worth maybe swapping Bartel for Zorko or Rockliff?
