This is latest go at it ... i think Mummy is underpriced and if fully fit will start real well with Sydney's draw.
Still iffy on Looey if he is good to go?

And whats peoples thoughts on Varcoe and Gray?

Gray is out for the first month or two i think.

Nice, good to see another Cunnington fan (though with so many good mid-prices mids its hard to fit him in). Obvious change would be Franklin to Cox to give you DP fwd/ruck. Could also argue that there are some better options than Hawkins, though he's not a bad pick and a bit unique.

can i please get some feedback?

Grimes is injury prone, and Russell couldn't get a gig at the Blues, no idea how he will at the Pies.

I wouldn't pick Scully or Stevens and I wouldn't take the punt on Fyfe but thats just me.

Neade is too small. Will get killed, so I doubt he will play much this season.

grimes worth the punt i reckon since in the last few weeks last year he was averaging 110

im a pie fan, and russel should get a gig at half back so shaw can puh up the ground, he was immpressive in nab rnd 1

scully trained the house down in off season and loses some of the pressure of his pricetag this year.

but yeah still iffy on stevens and neade.

Have previously been a big Bartel fan, but I think his SC days are over. He is very durable, well resonably so, but I think SC wise he is on the decline, as the new generation of Cats get more midfield time. Questionable on Watts also, though the Dees backline will see plenty of the ball, could be a good POD.

I like the look of Byrnes as a cheap forward the more I look at it, should play all games barring injury and get midfield time, at $230 k could be a steal.

Which two would you take...

Harper, Krakouer, Knights, Byrnes are there any other cheap fwd options I'm missing for a starting place? If Staker is right for Round 1 I might have him as well as EMG.

Yeah Bartel I am not 100% sold on either, so I'd be happy to swap him for someone else, but he is consistent and I'm not sure who is better for his price?

Watts is a gamble, but he's surely only going to improve from here and he could still make more cash off the backline with his accurate kicking.

I reckon this is Watts breakout year down back, he averaged 85 last year and was pretty average so can only get better. Good POD.

$38K left over.

50/50 on Varcoe and Kennedy, but the rest I'm pretty settled on, other than potentially upgrading Murphy to Danger or Selwood.

Not bad, good to see some different names being thrown about. Personally I think you should upgrade one of your forward rookies, they never get much game time compared to mid/def rookies, so worth it to upgrade to a mid-pricer who'll play all matches and make money at the same time ( eg. out Daniher, in Varcoe or Byrnes). To find the cash you could downgrade a premo defence player to a undervalued mid-pricer such (perhaps Atley or Newman).

Backline looks strong.
Mids 3, 1 and 6 is weak.
Rucks std
Kennedy, lecras and Varcoe risky in the one line.

Too many mid-pricers if you ask me. I'm pretty iffy about Cloke, Kennedy, Lecras and Varcoe id get rid of 2 for rookies and upgrade the other 2 to Buddy, Roughead, or Robbo. Or use some of the money to get another premium mid in there that's where you're going to get all the really big consistent scorers. Back line looks good but maybe you could lose Pearce or Heppell to get the extra premo mid.
