I can't understand what's going on with my Raiders... we have all the building blocks. We're a better team without Dugan than with... We've got the best 4 prop rotation in the league. We've got a cracking back row with Fensom and Papali. Our halves more than hold their own. Wighton has some work to do, and Croker is a weakness, but we have a really good backline. Aside from Croker, hooker is really the only genuine weakness we have.

I try not to be a coach-basher... but I just can't help but wonder where we'd be with a coach like Bennett who focus on discipline, rather than playing million dollar footy.

Yes, champagne footy focused on trying to set records for offloads in a game is good for the fans - but it doesn't win premierships.

I just wish we would show some more discipline. I'd rather them be able to complete 80% of their sets rather than try and play champagne footy any day. Williams, Robinson and Buttriss do not equal Cronk, Slater and Smith... so why do we insist on playing that attacking game? St George and arguably Manly didn't win premierships on the back of this style of play - surely they're the template for teams that need to grind out results like the Raiders do.
