GWS = Basketcase

Lose; Jaksch, Boyd, Whiley, JOR, Frost, Picks 4, 19, 43

Gain; Griffen, Pick 1(Petracca), Jack Steele, possibly pick 22, pick 40
EFA, and they need/want quality over quantity, so they're probably happy with that, especially considering half the losses asked to be traded and also didn't really play many games this year anyway

Melbourne will take Brayshaw, that's a certain. After that it's all guess work. McCartin? Wright? Laverde? Duggan? Weller? Lever?
That's the thing as I reckon melb would take a tall which we would have no chance in taking both paddy and wright as the pies would probably take a tall as well before they take a mid.. All up in the air

That could be real possibility if the Dees take Lever at 3.

1: Petracca
2: Brayshaw
3: Lever
4: McCartin
5: Laverde
6: Wright
7: Durdin
Stop it.....

That would be amazing. So we are unsure who is better out of Petracca, Wright & McCartin, yet somehow land 2 out of the 3 plus a free CHB as well. That would be incredible, yet no longer looks impossible.

Well he has a good record, and is generally reliable.

Told us we wouldn't get JOR or Jaksch for #1

Told us last week we wouldn't have #1 by Thursday 16th.

Told us about Stanley and #21 last night.

Believe what you like

Can remember JOR but not Jaksch. We all thought we would trade pick 1 if the right deal came about, but yesterday he said we'd keep it & in regards to Stanley, he posted that after it was on trade radio & SEN.

As I said, just my opinion!

In my humble opinion that would be a bit of a reach taking weller that high

Most Phantom drafts have him going between 6 & 10.

Brayshaw and one of McCartin or Wright at 2 and 3

We would take the remaining I guess at 4 (or maybe Laverde) as the Pies like Laverde apparently at 5.

We could take Laverde at 4, then Wright at 6 and another mid at 7....

Another bonus would be trumping the Pies!!
Thank God we aren't list managers . So many variables as to who to pick!!

call me crazy but i would just address all the talls in one draft:
Pick 4: McCartin
Pick 6: Wright
Pick 7: Durdin

would allow us to target the outside mids next year
Spot on in my opinion. We take a couple of mids at 21/22 that slide and Darcy Parish next year. If Cockatoo is now being touted as a top 20 pick and McKenzie is taken by Carlton at 19, we might just find ourselves with Duggan or similar with pick 21. Wow.
