I think this trade period is getting to me. I had a dream last night about the draft, can't remember much but remember us calling out Laverde's name. My dreams often come true too so I would almost lock that in. I think I need to see a doctor.

If we got 4,6,7 and IF GWS went for McCartin, and IF Melbourne took Brayshaw and Wright, Petracca may fall to pick 4.

But they will get one of Wright or McCartin with 4 so why would they trade that for them? They wont be as good as Boyd but why give up so much for the choice of the two?

Why don't they just take one of McCartin or Wright at 4? Do they not rate Wright? Don't see what their problem is, they have Patton, Cameron and McCarthy as well as others such as Tomlinson, Stewart and Finlayson (he's through their academy this year right?) who can pay KPF, why are they hell bent on McCartin now when there's a solid chance he's still available at 4, seeing as Melbourne could take Wright/Lever/Durdin because their ruck/kpd needs outweigh their forward needs.
