Would think Melb would want a tall not two mids.

Gary Lyon reckons they are deadset stuck on Brayshaw.

If we got 4,6,7 and IF GWS went for McCartin, and IF Melbourne took Brayshaw and Wright, Petracca may fall to pick 4.

Of course they are, they just lost Boyd.

But they will get one of Wright or McCartin with 4 so why would they trade that for them? They wont be as good as Boyd but why give up so much for the choice of the two?

maybe pick 4 & 6 for pick 1.

Plus a player of ours such as Armitage and pick 7.

If that happened we would be flag contenders in 4-5 years. This deal is huge for our club!

They want to win games next year. Don't rule out any of Montagna/Dempster/Gilbert/Fisher as the player that gets this deal done.

They can have all of them.

Why don't they just take one of McCartin or Wright at 4? Do they not rate Wright? Don't see what their problem is, they have Patton, Cameron and McCarthy as well as others such as Tomlinson, Stewart and Finlayson (he's through their academy this year right?) who can pay KPF, why are they hell bent on McCartin now when there's a solid chance he's still available at 4, seeing as Melbourne could take Wright/Lever/Durdin because their ruck/kpd needs outweigh their forward needs.
