Little did we know how much we’d be shitting bricks as the final siren loomed a couple of hours later.

Had 3 guards ready to escort me out. I convinced them to wait 5 minutes and I’d be good. I wasn’t but game was over anyway, shut campaigners.

I did feel like vomiting at Half Time in the * game and with two minutes to go in the Cats game with that “deliberate” OOB
I felt more confident being the better part of five goals down at half time against * than I was being five goals up at half time against the Handbaggers the following week. You just knew they were going to make a charge, particularly since Bartel hadn't yet received any of his weekly allotment of half a dozen soft frees (at least two of which AFL rules stipulate must be in a goal scoring position). The last five minutes of the Geelong game seemed to last an hour.

My memory is hazy but I think Hawkins kicked 12 in the last and became an actual unicorn.

LOL at Heppell short-arming that mark because he heard the footsteps of that renowned thug, Shaun Atley. And then jumping out of the way of Ryan "the bull" Bastinac in the last 10 seconds. You can really see why * deemed him to be captaincy material.

Some great moments to watch from and learn for young players. Petrie's handball that's part of the setup for a Thomas over the top goal has perfect followup. Used to use his body so well to take space from opponents.

Wellsy's clean hands under pressure really stood out. There was one passage of play in the last quarter where he worried Chapman into a fumble, pounced between three * players, got the ball and fired off a pinpoint handball before he'd even controlled it. Pure class.

We really miss LT, a pressure forward who could hit the scoreboard.

Wells had amazing hands, amongst the best I'd ever seen and when he was on he hunted the player and the ball like few others.

When LT nailed his 4th goal in the first quarter the following week v the Pussies wasn’t far behind. We were on fire!

Was going to post exactly the same comment. The cats put a saddle on LT after that goal and the umpires let them get away with murder IMO.

How good is Firrito in that one-on-one with Goddard? Murdered him.
Did you notice how about 5 seconds after that a flock of seagulls flew across the screen? So symbolic; it was almost as if Floggard's spirit animals were abandonning him in disgust.

* can have that 69 point comeback in the H & A away game.

I'll take the Elim Final win over that any day of the week.

Still gives me chills. The loudest crowd I have ever been a part of. Makes my hair stand on end just thinking about it.

I remember smacking my hand on a concrete pillar at half time and my old man telling me to settle down. Was such a satisfying comeback after that though.

Here here. That was the loudest our NMFC brothers and sisters have ever been.

Ah, BT...

The clash between Paul Chapman and his old club, Geelong. You have to be there for that...

You know Wells is going to kick this (as he handballs to Brown.)

Goddard goes down the line to a one-on-one, Nathan Grima the target there.

Was so much fun. Best night of footy for me in the last 20 years. So satisfying. I will never forget the roar when Drew kicked the outside of the foot goal.

The Gibson goal and the second Petrie goal.

Never felt energy like that before or since.

The place felt like it lifted 3 feet off the earth.

Unacquainted North people literally shaking each other in the stands.

Loudest noise I’ve heard from our crowd in a very long time.
Especially after our first half - the arrogance of * fans around me was like they had won the flag.
Was so sweet
