Very free flowing footy out at Aspley today. Duffield and Nathan Clarke standouts across the half back line and centre. Kedron 7.8. 50 lead Aspley 2.6. 18

Today I saw a great game of footy spoilt by an absolute imbecile. Noosa v Nambour saw Noosa run out deserved winners, but a club that accepts the actions of #29, Trompf , I believe is his name is a club that will continue to slide. He has possibly set Noosa back 30 years in terms of attracting decent people to your club. When the coaching team accept the actions of this coward without repercussions the club will struggle. There is a lot of media around cowards who one punch off the field, cowards on the field should not be tolerated also. A young man will possibly never play our great game again because of Coward Trompf...

Gee how bad is the Kid who got hit? Never play again? If found guilty of a coward act this bloke should cop a very lengthy ban if not life. Is police charges possible if it was an intentional act? Can you elaborate on what actually happened.

Question all you like burger but I know for a fact normo received a 10k sign on fee which is massive and x amount a game I won't say what his getting but that's big coin so money does talk.caloundra offered $60 a game it's fair to say his on massive coin, good investment tho

You make it sound like he king hit the kid......from where it sat it was in play ........ Unfortunate what happened to the guy. Umpire paid a free kick. No one was reported. Or even sent off and no one from Nambour really remonstrated. Would say to me it was just one of those things that happen when two teams go at it ......hard and physical. Both teams played hard and both teams went in hard............it was a good old fashion game of footy. ..get your facts right before telling lies on what happened ! Hey Tiger G......not an intentional act! Far from it. This happened early in the game......both teams were real physical at the ball,........ No report, no red card and no send off. So unless myself and the 6 umpires missed this so called "coward act " .....it looks like only one person saw it that way!
It can't be 10k, Roos don't have that sort of money.
It will be interesting to know what really happened. IMO Trompf is just great to watch, very intimidating and runs straight lines. I'm a big fan of his football. He is not just captain of his senior side, last year was president of the juniors at Noosa. Just a great clubman. I'd be very surprised if he just king hit a player. He is one player that will thrive on the 4 coast side playing each other this season. It will be sad if the Nambour guy will never play again, but it is a hard game.
I'm can say my relationship with Normo is pretty close, I know the deals, I know what Caloundra threw at Normo and the Jed Turner debacle. Honestly it's no ones business and clubs deals should not be spoken of or on forums. If a club offers a player 50000, big deal, help the player. Great. As long as the club can afford it and survives, good luck to the club and player. I believe any business deal, football, work or wages is between the Body and the person. No one else's concern or business to get involved.

Spot on Snowy73...... Trompf is hard at it and never takes backward step. What I saw of the so called coward act......ball spent a far bit of time on the deck in the first qtr and it's was one if those things that happens when two proud teams go hard at the footy. We all know Trompf is ....well Trompf. Tough on the field.
Great man around the club, always has first at training, always involved with the juniors and with the girls teams. So for the previous post to say he has put the club back 30 years and this will be a deterrent for players coming to the club.......load of crap. 7 player debuted yesterday, 4 more returned to the club......plus there were another dozen new kids in the 2s. So plenty of life at the Noosa footy club.
I would ask any coach in the new league if they would take Peter on as a captain for their club and the answer would be YES!
I am a Noosa person, and I'm trying not to sound bias.......but what was posted certainly didn't happen that way, and if it did, I am sure President Scott Mackenzie an coach James Gellie would have no part of that. And they would act on it. I know I would say something!

Glad to hear it wasn't intentional just one of those unfortunate accidents that happens in the game, guess some fans tend to overreact which tends to give a good person a bad reputation. So yes Hawk should get his facts straight.
Anyway Nambour and Noosa looked like a very tight game can you tell us anything on the game, were the conditions really bad eg. heavy under foot? or was Nambour better opposition than expected? Not having a dig at any club just don't know anything on the new clubs being a new comp. Noosa are usually a successful, strong club for many years but struggled last year, are they in the rebuilding process? Don't know how well they recruited off season and if the comp reshuffle affected them at all? I know at Mayne they are very fortunate a lot our stars remained loyal and stayed with the club.

The incident at Nambour was a dirty hit right infront of the nambour box and was a headbutt. Trompf cut 2 other nambour players with elbows. To say he isnt dirty is a joke, everytime he went in for a tackle there was either elbows or fists to the head.
To have a player like that as captain and also junior president is laughable. You call Trompf tough and hard at it BC? Someone who plays as dirty as he does is not tough, its weak. And he has that dirty reputation from people who have played against him for a long time.
